really? I thought BadZoe was joking. I guess its better than making her Sheila, but come on now. How convoluted and contrived can this show get?

Given the long-running rumors that Lauren was going to be killed, she might be somewhat relieved about this story. I wonder if they had this double in mind all along or if plans for Kimberlin fell through. This story has seemed so made up as it goes along.

Tom didn't have any clue who Sheila was until he was on Lauren's honeymoon yacht to kidnap her a little over four years ago. He had only met Sheila that summer and they started to work together because they wanted to get back at Lauren and Michael. He thought they were kinapping Lauren to ransom her, and Lauren finally convinced him that Brenda was really Sheila, a psycho who hated her and was planning to kill them both and blame Tom for her murder.

It was then that Tom kidnapped them both and brought them to the bomb shelter under a farm near Genoa City. I so wanted Tracey Bregman to get a story but this is beyond lame. I have no doubt Tracey can pull off playing two parts, but the point is the story itself is so ridiculous that it will negate any good acting.

As for Tracey Bregman, she is working and allowed to play a bad character again, so I imagine she is having fun considering she was all but ignored by MAB last year and had to constantly deal with rumors that Maria Bell wanted to write her out.

I just don't get it. Lauren and Michael are characters with such rich histories and the only story they could come up with was a Sheila return and yet another double when they already have one on the canvas? Who ok's these stories? I can't believe there wouldn't be someone pointing out to Maria that it may be a bit redundant to run three doppelganger stories in a little over a year and two at the same time.

Nope, and there was no indication ever, even a slight one that they knew who each other were prior. This is probably the biggest retcon ever.

Is Daisy & Ryder suppose to be Terrible Tom Kids?

Now Sarah is Daisy & Ryder mother or Shelia is? Because if Tom & Sarah got together after the Shelia incident does that meeans Tom is alive.

Forget I'm confuse because if he knew Sarah before he met Shelia he should have know who Shelia was because of her sister.

& why would Shelia sister want Lauren face somebody she never met before.

Another thing if Daisy & Ryder isn't twins. & they was born in different years. Does that make Tom still alive. Because if we even go by Soap aging. they had to been born whatever year that Tom & Shelia met. & it had to be 2000 & something.

My thoughts:

Kimberlin Brown was approached to play the role of Sarah Smythe but declined when she learned she wouldn't be playing Sheila. This led to a re-write that caused the long delay of Mama Bear's identity revelation, and the brainiacs at Y&R thought it would be creative to give Bregman a dual role. Now, I love Tracey and she's quite capable of playing a dual role, but we don't need this when we already have Emily and Patty.

I thought that they would have changed Diana's gender like they did to Tucker, who was suppose to be Kay's daughter. It may be a good thing that they were not Sheila's two existing kids.
