Brynn may have had one of the worst reunion performances I’ve ever seen. She truly tried her best to be the biggest victim but her castmates weren’t letting her at all, it was great.

Sai still thinks she’s owed an apology despite spending a season implying that Pavit was flying to Vietnam to cheat. She took zero accountability for that being why he said that.

It was a very good Part 1, focused mostly on Brynn's lies, so little time wasted on inconsequential stuff. Even the Erin segment was focused on the loss of her dad, etc., although it did gloss over her troubles with Abe.

Brynn coming to Jessel before reunion to keep her on-side was the height of delusional. She said she hadn't watched the final episode (which I don't believe), and when she 'watched' it on camera, with her tears, she once again acted like she was the victim and everyone else was against her. She really is sticking to her clueless position, no matter what!

I'm glad Sai and the other castmates (Jessel, Jenna) did not give Brynn a pass. She needed to be asked, again and again, to take accountability, because her entire strategy was about staying purposely delusional. She was slouching there with a pout. Such a bad choice.

Her attempt to gaslight Jessel with meaningless apologies was thwarted as Jessel held her ground in perhaps the most impactful moment of the episode.

If anything, I wish Jessel had pointed to Sai and Erin and demanded an apology from them, too. Sai and Erin let Brynn take the fall for the mess they all concocted this season. (I can't believe Bravo is backing Sai on her demand for an apology from Pavit! Jessel handled that one with class). They've been an alliance since the beginning.

Brynn is in a worrying position. By acting delusional, she risks coming across as unhinged. From the show's perspective, can she come back? Yes, this brought in ratings, but will the cast want to film with her again? And from a corporate perspective, this destroys her brand. Not many firms want to work with someone has been caught on TV lying. You need some level of trustworthiness.

The Watch What Crappens men pointed out last week that Brynn is getting a lot of hate on social media, and they are not sure if she is emotionally strong to withstand that heat. I'm not saying this as an excuse to exonerate her, but rather pointing out the facts (as I see them) of her situation. Of course, the damage she could have done to Ubah's reputation if she hadn't been caught would have been even more terrible for Ubah, who could have seen her own professional and personal life collapse.

Ubah's empathy for Brynn and what she went through was the stand-out of the episode for me -- despite everything that went down.

I said that I was looking forward to the reunion. What Brynn did in the finale was dark. So I was looking forward to the lashings she was sure to get.

Part 1 was worth the wait. And we haven't even gotten to Ubah going in on her yet, either.

Barely 15 minutes in, Sai started on Brynn and kept that heel FIRMLY on her neck. Then you had Erin tag in here and there. Jessel read her ALL...THE...WAY...DOWN. And that was after Jessel tried to explain why she had an issue for empathy that Brynn was not giving. And then...FINALLY...the Gemini jumped out of Jenna. And I was HERE for it. The takedown of Brynn has been grossly great to watch. And good ratings, too.

There was so much that made it that way though. The delusion of Brynn showing up at the reunion without looking at the last episode (though it sounded like everyone had not actually per Andy). And then she watched it...only to feel NOTHING. My bad. She felt jealousy at the other ladies rallying around Ubah. Without even understanding why they did. How???? Jessel's face said it all...what world does Brynn live on that she did not understand the gravity of what she did? And then...to double down on a victim act???

Heather Dubrow said it best. When everyone says you're dead...it's time to lay down.

Take your lashings...Trick.

ERIN. Everyone being mad at Brynn for being part of the 'mean girls' chat on the trip that they forgot Erin was in on it (and didn't notice that Jessel said Sai called and apologized as soon as it aired)...and didn't apologize, either. That said...I liked that she got her digs/reactions in on Brynn, too. And her segment did make me sad. Very happy that her dad knew she was expecting before he passed.

RAQUEL. I liked we got an update on her mother...moreso because it was THE thread for her this season. Outside of that, good fashion, and good reactions, she was light this episode.

UBAH. We haven't even gotten to her stuff yet, and she's already giving. Looks. Detachment like when Brynn first walked out. And also...grace. The fact her and Brynn are not at all in a good space, and she had sooooo much empathy and sympathy for Brynn when she was discussing the SA. Love her or hate her, but Ubah definitely showed her character in that moment. And I've already said it before, but I'll say it again...Ubah is a good friend. When Jessel was explaining why she had an issue with Brynn and Brynn was trying to spin it into a woe is me victim moment...Ubah was there to have Jessel's back with her 'LET HER TALK.' The host could never...

SAI. MVP for me. I don't care, I don't care. lol. She lit Brynn up, and I lived for every moment of it. I lived for her keeping her heel on Brynn's neck. Andy having her back with the 'one yell and traumatized for 5 weeks.' Her clapbacking at Brynn with the fact Production had no rollback on her vs having PLENTY on Brynn. Mocking Brynn with the 'the energy' and hand gestures. The coup de grace was 'you're right. I don't know your job. What do you do?' with the piercing stare. Left Brynn for dead. Every time Brynn tried to spin a victim moment, Sai was there to bring tea, outyell her, and then checked her into the couch. And looked flawless doing it. Believe me when I said...I LIVED. Her only false note was the silly feud with Pavit.

JENNA. YAYYYYY!!! The Gemini jumped out. FINALLY!!! LOL!!! A Gemini will only take bs for so long before they will proceed to verbally destroy you. And Jenna gave Brynn so many chances. She even held her hand to allow her to feel sympathy and tried to get through to her. But Brynn trying to be stubborn Aquarius and not apologize was IT for Jenna. Because for Brynn to sit there as Jessel poured her heart out as to why she was upset, and it fall on deaf ears. NO. She said the best thing...Brynn was WRONG, she needed to APOLOGIZE, and then she needed to SHUT UP. That's IT. Loved seeing that side of her that I knew existed. Outside of that...it does not seem like she's beating the money allegations given her brief chat with Andy.

JESSEL. Why do they keep trying Jessel? lol. I didn't like that whole 'what work have you done?' segment at all. Other than that, I liked how detached she was from Brynn when Brynn came into her dressing room being nosy. And then she revealed how Brynn twisted her words about the question and how it hurt Pavit. And when Brynn showed NO remorse...she read that ass. LOVE.

BRYNN. Outside of her SA segment where I did feel sorry for her...she deserved to be dragged and I've enjoyed every minute of her dragging. The fact she decided to come into the reunion unprepared AND doubled down on her victim/sexpot/lying act. NO, MA'AM. So the fact most of the ladies were whacking her left and right, turning her every which way, but loose...I enjoyed every moment of it.

Solid Part 1. Can't wait for Part 2.

I'm curious to know people's opinions on this trailer (thanks @Antoyne ! Just saw your comment). It feels like a complete break from RHOAs past -- not a hard reboot like nuRHONY, but not a soft reboot either. 3 new faces in a cast of 6.

Noteworthy:

-No mention of Simon AT ALL.

-Oh, Kenya got fired alright. Looks like we will see what prompted her firing.

-Phaedra barely appears until the very end. In fact, FOH Cynthia appears more than Phaedra.

I didn't either. Jessel looks largely the same to me. Wisely, she hasn't touched her nose which is distinctive and all hers! Ok, so she got some veneers and filler. The RHs of OC get more facelifts done in a month than whatever Jessel had in a year. And why didn't anyone else at the reunion get a grilling?

    • This can be difficult for a soap to depict. So far she's only shown an interest in women. Will a man come into her life? If she commits to a male, there will be  backlash, but if it's women only, them where is the bi/queer aspect? Personally, I would have liked a single gay male on the show dealing with hook ups/relationships etc. Smitty/Martin married with kids is limiting in those terms.
    • Of course, how could I have forgotten those thrilling episodes depicting the fire? Also we had the GCAC rooftop set that came out every Summer. Moving on to Friday's episode. Victor is propped in his chair, answers his cell and tells the caller 'Let him in'. Seconds later Kyle enters. So does Victor have security on the front porch? It would have been better had Victor taken the call, and then said to himself 'Well Kyle, let's see what you have to say'and fade out. Next scene Kyle enters, indicating that the first call was from the Ranch entrance and time had passed . Nit picky but I get frustrated when they do stuff like that.
    • Jordan was gone from '87 to mid-'89. He left just weeks after Robert's late '86 return.
    • Jordana Brewster is making a new movie. https://deadline.com/2025/06/rob-riggle-jordana-brewster-the-pirate-king-1236426287/ Kelly Rutherford posing for a magazine cover with her son. Kelly Rutherford Photographed with Model Son Hermés, 18, Years After Custody Battle
    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
