Miami ratings keep slipping (unlike how BH and DC did through their run):

Last Tuesday:

Real Housewives of Miami (BRAVO)

- 1.301 million viewers

- 0.9/2 HH

- 0.7/2 A18-49

This Tuesday:

Real Housewives of Miami (BRAVO)

- 1.101 million viewers

- 0.9/2 HH

- 0.5/2 A18-49

:o

I wonder how Andy feels about this. I also think the season is almost over, already! They keep previewing this new pregnant nanny show that starts in the same timeslot on April 5th. That leaves only 2 episodes left, to include a reunion. That can't seem right!

I read the finale is on the 29th. Since Million Dollar Listing now airs before it on Tuesday I can't see them airing the reunion there. Maybe they'll air the first part before NYC premieres the first Thursday in April. Or maybe the reunion will only be one part. Either way it's looking like two more episodes and a reunion soon. I just want more Elsa and I'll be happy. She's the main draw for me. I cannot wait to see her on Watch What Happens Live this Tuesday.

All I care about is the enigma that is Elsa...Seeing her actually walk around in that last episode was like being at the zoo...That thing she calls a head/face is just astonishing...I really hope Marysol grows a brain and stops before she looks exactly like her mom.

5 episodes is beyond dissapointing. Its sad that the most intereting stotyline is Larsa and her quest for a good nanny. I found that hilarious on the last show. "I would prefer someone that can speak english bc my husband doesnt like someone that doesnt undersand when he's talking" LOL

Just watched the premiere for OC.

While it's my favorite, these bitches look broke compared to the extreme wealth of Beverly Hills. A LOT of the luster from their fabulous and wealthy (using the term loosely here) is gone.

The season looks EXPLOSIVE, especially with Vicki's divorce and Tamra vs Jeana (which, should be noted, Tamra is NOT the one pushing her. She tweeted about it and in the preview the clothing is not the same).

Why does Gretchen have/need an assistant? She can barely feed herself, let alone hire help! Aside from Slade, that is. Her bag line looks like it came from K-Mart (ridiculously overpriced at $250 a pop).

Even though she's a bitter ho, I love Vicki. It's the drive and the presence. Donn.

Anyone know how it's faring in the ratings?

Wow - I forgot about the drag queen! I think we got a glimpse of him at the art show though (he was behind Adriana while she got in the fight with the art guy).

I'm surprised, given Andy's pro-gayness, and the Housewives normally having gay friends on every season, that he would cut out the drag queen completely - AND is now cutting out the lesbian OC housewife from being a housewife, Fernanda.

Here are the first two episodes' ratings:

Premiere Episode:

Real Housewives of Orange County (BRAVO, 10pm)

- 2.050 million viewers

- 1.4/3 HH

- 1.1/3 A18-49

2nd Episode:

Real Housewives of Orange County (BRAVO, 10pm)

- 2.051 million viewers

- 1.5/2 HH

- 1.1/3 A18-49

No drops - and pretty consistent. Much higher than Miami and Bethenny Ever After, but just under Top Chef.

    • I’m still enjoying Leslie personally. It’s actually fascinating to see her so fear less about getting caught. I don’t even think she comprehends how Eva just saved her ass. Also her interactions with Kat and Jacob entertain me. She has great antagonistic chemistry with both of them.
    • BY FAR the weakest episode of the past week+. -- Even a change in writers cannot make Leo work as a character. Dialing back on his personality isn't enough -- he's still insufferable. Every scene he was in reminded me of why I grew to hate Carlivati. -- Chad couldn't make a longer obituary on John a go with a single phone call? So stupid. -- Jack and Jennifer should have called in their regrets the way Hallmark Sami did. I got nothing from them today and felt nothing. -- Jack slobbering the praise on Leo for his work at the paper was pathetic.

    • I was relieved to get a respite from the heavy John/Bo material today. Like previously mentioned, it really let us come up for air and breathe a bit, and good beats regarding John were still in play to keep that thoroughline going.  Peter Reckell was fantastic on yesterday's episode. I was worried Bo would be told about Victor and Doug off-screen, so though my heart was fully breaking for him, I'm really happy we got to see him react to their passings. How strange that both his fathers died in a plane crash, I'm surprised they didn't have a line about it, but maybe it would have been to clunky to include. Cat/Tate were a fresh interaction. Why would she "feel" like she knows Sami. It reminded me of when Carrie "felt" like she knew EJ when he first came to town as EJ Wells, where he should have turned out to be a long lost Tony/Anna kid, but then all the mess we got happened instead. With that and her mysterious call, colour me intrigued. I am going to confess something I am almost ashamed to admit ... I like the Jack/Leo scene! However, in my defense, it got very genuine between them and those historical references used about Diana, Duke, and Leo's past with John were all very strong beats to play for me, and most importantly it Leo's responses were kept to a minimum. But by God, those pants he was wearing made him look deranged. Also, shout out to Melissa Reeves, who came back effortlessly yet again. I can't wait to see her confront Chad about letting Cat into his life. And SSH shouting "SKYDIVING" was hilarious.

I also feel like we’ve honored her lately with the synopses that keep coming in! Just wish we had more clips! Maybe someday!
    • Of course Donna somehow missed Laura Wright’s moles for 20 years.
    • Today's Lucky and Liz scenes were horrible. There really is no way to explain Lucky's character. Not that anyone cared though. It looked like everyone involved just gave up, and that JJ couldn't get out of there fast enough.  Also, why is Sonny on every single day? Most of his appearances are so pointless. Can they not rest the character, even for a few days?
    • I agree.  She has become ridiculous, and simply not a believable character.  She needs to tone it down, or get to jail as quickly as possible.   I completely agree.  A bit of an Upstairs, Downstairs vibe is really all BTG is missing.
    • Aimless. That's a good way to put it. As far as killing Drew, I really want Porsha to do it, but they somehow get her off.
