Not yet.

I'm just now getting around to watching LADIES OF LONDON.

And don't get me started on RHOA tonight. And a new RI tonight, too?

I have Rhode Island on my to do list. And Atlanta is finally back tonight. Feels like it’s been years.

Well it helps that BH can no longer carry alone.

RI

I wanted to wait till episode 2 aired in order to give a review because I knew we had one more housewife coming aboard and she did not disappoint.

Overall, this show has strong NJ vibes because they're all Italian and all somehow know each other, except for The Bachelor's Ashley, who is married to a native Rhode Islander. I definitely enjoyed the first two episodes and will continue watching. This show has the organic chemistry that is so lacking in certain franchises and can really make or break a show.

Jo-Ellen is an absolute bitch and not someone I'd want to encounter in real life. Liz, the one who looks like NJ's Dolores, is a hoot. Rulla will be very flamboyant and aggressive. Rosie is a pot stirrer. Kelsey is more sympathetic than I expected given she's a sugar baby, but she seems genuinely conflicted. Alicia is a dim bulb but her stupidity seems amusing. Ashley seems sweet and stressed out and devoted to her husband.

ATL

I thought that was a good premiere and enjoyed all of it. I like K. Michelle. Very unsure about this Pinky. Drew remains deluded. I am on neither team Porsha or team Shamea - I like them both. Angela and Phaedra should get over it. I still can't believe Angela is only 44. Kelli is still portraying herself in a financially ridiculous way. I liked how this cast gels and wanted to have some fun for the start.

BH

Stick a fork in it. It's soon to be done. An utter flop of a season and just further evidence that Kyle needs to be fired. She is an albatross to the show. The only person who has put in any work this season is Dorit, whose life is imploding, while Jennifer, Kathy, and Rachel Zoe were all easy breezy and amusing with some fun lifestyle stuff.

Did you see that PEOPLE was reporting that Kyle might actually leave this season?

Online the rumor (unverified) is that she wants to leave and that Bravo wants Rinna to take her place. Can you believe it.

RHORI is,like visiting my once-hometown of Greater Boston. I love it. Once I finish the second episode, I will post my thoughts properly.

Need to catch up on ATL and even BH. Bravo has flooded the zone with clips of Erika and Dorit fighting at dinner in some Mediterranean locale. I wonder why they would bother to do that if the ratings are as good as they say they are?

I binge-watched the first 9 episodes of the new Beverly Hills season... And I have some things to say.

Contemplating Carrie Bradshaw GIF

First off... I honest to God have no clue how fans are reacting to this season, since I've completely ditched Housewives forums and media for the last few months. Honestly, I just haven't had the time... so I'm totally in the dark about whether people are loving or hating this season. I think I caught a TikTok clip of Sarah Michelle Gellar calling this season "boring". That's literally the only hint I've got about the audience's reaction... And I'm still behind on all your comments... but I'll catch up once I binge the next episodes and get up to speed with the latest one. So... I might be saying something that won't be popular, who knows... but for me... this is hands down THE BEST season of any Housewives franchise... that I've ever seen in my whole life. And I'm saying this knowing pretty well how subjective this is. This is my personal favorite. I can't believe I'm actually saying this. In fact this is the first season where I'm watching episodes and sobbing like a baby every single time... And I really don't like admitting that... hahaha. I'm not a fan of Andy at all and honestly thought BH would be done by now.

So... it's definitely a slow-burn type of drama... but it's getting there. Un-masking Amanda aka All About Eve storyline is soooooo interesting to me. WHO IS THIS WOMAN. I am purposefully not googling anything, because I don't want to spoil it for myself. But she gives me the chills - the way she incessantly boasts about how she purchased this and that... and how she bought HER HOUSE... and not her husband... and how HE IS EVERYTHING... except for one thing - he earns less than she does. Why did you have to say this in front of people? Don't you know how demeaning this is for your husband? I honestly feel bad for this guy... I feel pity that he lives with this woman. It's almost like I'm witnessing MY MOTHER, who is a pathological sociopathic narcissist. This woman is so intensely triggering to watch at times... I've never experienced such disgust and aversion towards any other housewife. EVER. That being said - PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE HER FROM THE CAST. She has the potential to become an iconic villain... even Camille in season 1 wasn't that delusional.

Regarding Rachel Zoe... Well... I understand she can be a polarizing figure... and over the years, some have criticized her for promoting an anorexic aesthetic... BUT... just listen to me... I ADORE HER. ADORE. ADORE. ADORE HER. Aaaaaaaaaaand her kid is incredibly WISE for his age, it's soooo amusing. I appreciate how genuine and authentic she has been up to this point. She has surprised me so much, I expected nothing but surface level from her, but she is delivering a mature wise woman.

Honestly, Kyle - I have to admit, I've never liked her more than I do this season. Watching her revisit old memories at their old house - sure, it was staged and melodramatic... but I F-CKING CRIED with her. I can genuinely relate to her. It takes me back to my early 20s when I was going through a breakup and just passing by his old apartment was enough to BRING ALL THOSE memories back. THAT SAID - she's still two-faced and untrustworthy... the way she threw Jennifer under the bus just to create drama with Sutton... CHILE. But that is Kyle after all, she will never be anything different. She's a mean girl to her bones.

As for Sutton - well... I don't know... she seems a bit dull this season, a bit aimless... I can't connect with her like I did in her earlier seasons. THAT'S ALL for Miss Brown.

Meryl Streep Miranda Priestley GIF

DORIT - well... she's definitely more in the spotlight than even Kyle at this point... and I bet that annoys Kyle a lot. I love that we're finally seeing something GENUINE from her. I'm definitely on her side in the conflict with Kyle... Kyle has no right to dictate what Dorit can or cannot say about her divorce. UNDER THE GUISE of a friendly advice. If Dorit kept quiet, Kyle would be spinning it as if Dorit is hiding something. So really, Dorit can't win. I'm rooting for her in her war with PK. I used to dislike this woman so much years ago... Now she's one of my favorites. Who knew!

Talking about changing my mind? Well, THIS SEASON I ABSOLUTELY ADORE BOZ. She brings a refreshing vibe to most scenes, particularly when Amanda is around. I appreciate her sharpness and her ability to pick up on the subtle cues that indicate someone is lying or pretending to be something they’re not. She was the first to sense that something was off with Amanda. When she suggested Amanda give financial advice to Dorit, instead of anything useful or concrete... all we got was Amanda regurgitating clichés and a bunch of meaningless words. AGAIN - WHO IS THIS WOMAN?

Fireworks Diwali GIF

So far... so good. I absolutely love, love, love this season. I haven’t skipped a single scene... I’ve cried, I’ve laughed... and I’m on edge about what this Amanda psycho is really about. Let’s see how much better the season gets in episodes 10, 11, 12... and so on... I’m diving back into my binge now... but I already know this is my favorite housewives season ever. Maybe it’s because I feel so connected to these women right now. Honestly... I have no clue if this opinion will be unpopular, but I can’t pretend to hate it. It’s definitely not the DRAMA and fights of the classic seasons... and it’s not as campy and intense as some others... But it feels like these women are finally moving forward - nearly ALL are single... and they’re all stepping into a new chapter. It’s almost like a good old season of Sex and the City, minus the sex part. (We have Erica for that)

OH MY GOD.... I'm watching now again... AMANDA is an absolute sociopath. Please put her in one room with Jody Claman and lock the door. Every word out of this woman's mouth is either a lie or... an exaggeration... AND SHE IS OBSESSED WITH painting herself as the victim... I was raised by this type of monster... she literally makes me relive childhood trauma just listening to her voice.

THANK GOD I don't have people like this in my life anymore... I'm literally crossing myself and saying Thank God... this is not in my house and it's just someone on TV. Maybe that's one of the reasons this season is hitting me so much... I'm literally happy that I cut a person like this out of my life... and making me see it in action... makes me so happy I DID.

OK. I'm taking what I said about Kyle... back. I'M NOT OKAY with her anymore in this season. It's episode 12 and the way she's trying to present Dorit... like she is some kind of mentally unstable... woman... when she KNOWS what that could do to her... during a divorce and custody dispute... OMG... JUST WHEN I was beginning to think we are getting a different Kyle this season. Disgusting.

I can't wait to start Rhode Island later this week!

@Maxim - Friend, I fear you're on an island LOL. But that's ok, I'm glad you're really enjoying it!!! I just find BH generally boring most seasons because the ladies are so reserved or there is one single thing that gets stretched out all season. That's what I loved about old school New York, those ladies were over someone after 2-3 episodes and then moved on to something else. I get BH is more of a lifestyle glamour show, but I guess I just prefer my housewives to be more open, raw, real and slightly messy haha. I agree Amanda is horrid and someone you'd never want in your own circle or life, but sadly she's not a 'love to hate' villain for me. She's just not entertaining to me. But if we didn't have Amanda, we'd have nothing else going on this season except Kyle vs. Dorit, which I think is a bit performative on Dorit's side so she can secure her seat for next season. We know she needs the housewives check, so she's doing the most, but even that still isn't enough for me nor can it float the entire season.

Rhode Island is instantly watchable @Cheap21!! We’ve been asking for housewives to cast a real friend group with connections again and they’ve done it. And these ladies are RICH.
