Andy is. When he warned Stacey not to let the hype get to her head, it was for her own good and the good of the show. Carlos King did the same. Stacey is the most fun addition to RHs in years, but if she continues to put on a performance, it will get one-note fast.

Stacey calling Gizelle Tia's "master" was knock-out punch, and I love Tia.

The reunion was a fun ride, though the Wendy/Eddie of it all was soft-pedaling. I am hoping that in Part 3 we are going to get tough questions like "Did you commit fraud?" and "How did you feel when you saw the photos wearing the jewellery you claimed were stolen and got an insurance pay-out for?"

Like @DaytimeFan I feel like Ashley has outlived her usefulness to an extent, but she read Wendy to rights when she told her "I only have one social security number." 🙌 Girl! Finally a comeback I can get behind.

I'm not sure the show needs Keiarna and Angel, but at least Angel came prepared and held her own with Gizelle.

I never really talked about the finale. Well about Karen. I wanted to wait until I watched it a second time since I was pretty distracted and felt a bit bored by the second half honestly.

I thought that it started off well enough. I didn't feel Karen was putting it on for the cameras. She felt...real. And traumatized. But still a good trooper to be back on camera. And the reunion with the family was a good moment.

I didn't like that she was trying to be deluded Karen at first. Le sigh. But as Andy kept pressing...it's been a minute with him being clocked in...I felt it was more complex. But...in hindsight...I could see that. But I didn't like how she kept pushing the narrative that it was the pills. Granted one should not mix pills and alcohol so she had a point. However, people have been talking about Karen and her drinking for years. So it can't just be that now that the whole truth is out there for anyone to find. I was disappointed that she did not own up to that a little bit more. Even if it was just for show...like LuAnn did. This was Karen's first chance to repair her image...and she was fumbling getting an A+. She has a loooong way to go, and I was already disappointed. B -

But star power she is! RHOP's ratings (against the GRAMMY at that) was a season high. People wanted to see what Karen would say. A long-time coming. And we all knew that. Karen played her cards there right. Andy played his cards right, but showing Karen what was said at last year's reunion. It's a given it's going to be Wendy vs Karen.

So...can't wait.

Karen went on 'Sherri' and I've seen a few clips of Sherri grilling her a little. It came across as a better interview than the official one. However, what is clear is that Karen has her script and is going to stick to it ("Let's talks about that" and then proceeds to talk around it). What is also clear is that the live audience loves her.

Keiarna has taught me that not all good "friends of" need to be promoted. Perhaps that's why Marlo was never promoted for so long on RHOA. And with that in mind, it's probably best that the fabulous Jennifer Tilly always remains a friend on RHOBH.

In her two years as a flute holder, Keiarna has either had a bland personal life story or started arguments with ladies that were whack and flopped. If she doesn't come back next year, I wouldn't miss her.

K really is a prime example of be careful what you wish for. After being bland as dirt her first season, she tried so hard to have moments this season and just looked deranged and desperate.

It’s amazing seeing the reception to the pretty excellent RHOP reunion so far in comparison to the SLC reunion that just ended.

I still want K back next season. I didnt like her in the first half when she was crashing out over Wendy and Stacey but she mellowed out by the end. I think she'll fare better with Karen back in the mix

Yeah, that Karen interview was a much better look for her. And she was slooowly taking accountability. How...LuAnn. And Sherrie was not backing down at all. So I feel more on her side.

Honestly, I want all the newbies back (Angel, Tia, and Keiarna...okay not newbie, but still). She at least was doing things the first half of the season and I did find her entertaining. I also think she will do better with Karen back simply because Keiarna has always had Karen's back since Karen was there for her during the Sesame Street affair. Part of the reason K was having beef with Stacey was due to her allegiance to Karen...who Stacey was turning on.

RHOP

Great Part 1. It was fun for me from start to finish. It flowed by so well that I was bummed when it was over. Time just flew.

The direction was great. They started with the Wendy/Eddie scene and her arrest. They teased Karen. And of course, I giggled when Gizelle found out she was NOT First Seat. AGAIN.

There were so many good moments. I liked that Stacey held her own. I'm always here for Stacey vs Tia. And honestly, I liked that Gizelle, Keiarna, and Tia were given time to explain why they dislike Stacey. And it made sense. That said...Gizelle knew she was pressed.

Meanwhile, Angel held her own, too. I felt she did good in Part 1 with looks. There was some interesting tension going on between her and Ashley that I loved to see. More of it.

And then it ended on a nice TBC as Wendy vs Ashley started. Just all around good.

So far...

GIZELLE. I'm going to sit there and giggle that she thought she was getting first seat. hehe. Andy was going to be shady. And oooo she was bothered by Stacey. But the rivalry between her and Stacey has been such a subtle battle between there. There were times this part that it reminded me of Gizelle vs Karen when they are on good terms. Same energy. That said...she (and Wendy) were totally hazing Angel.

ASHLEY. The most interesting thing about her was that tension between her and Angel. It made me wonder what was going on from the end of the season to the filming of the reunion. And Angel was getting her good. But she got a good dig in at Wendy at the coda.

WENDY. Not the ladies picking on her mugshot hair! lol. Other than that, I thought she was pretty low-key. I loved that we both were laughing at Stacey vs Tia. It's hilarious that arrest or not, she stayed serving looks. And she defended herself from Angel cuz it was never her that started CatfishGate. She just went along with it. Let's be clear. And her vs Ashley at the end was a nice surprise.

KEIARNA. I disagree with everyone saying she didn't say anything in Part 1. She did. In fact, she kept trying to have a moment, but everyone overtalked her or made her shut up. She did have a very interesting moment when Andy asked Wendy about her kids, Wendy said she didn't lie to her kids, and the cameras panned to her with a look on her face. What's the tea?

STACEY. Not us starting the reunion with everyone trying to gang up on her again! But she held her own. And I really liked that the other ladies were able to explain what their issues are with Stacey. And again...always here for Stacey vs Tia. And seems like Andy, Wendy, and everyone else were as well. I just hope she listens to what Andy said. She did avoid the second season curse. But she better not get like Alexia on RHOM and let the audience love get to her.

TIA. Not her sending doing Angel wrong with that running water stray! I hollered. I liked we got another round of her vs Stacey. Otherwise...nothing much this part.

ANGEL. I'm so proud she started off holding her own. Toward Gizelle. I liked she had time for Ashley, too. And that 'STOP' with the bass in her voice. More of that please. She is still a little too focused on Wendy still. But not surprising given what's going on with Wendy in real life. And being called James Earl Jones. DEAD. Pun unintended.

She says she can lose her job from those protecting the bishes that lied

Someone then asks if she had the tape of what happened on the plane. She says she can’t answer bc it’s a legal issue

She asks the crowed if 5 women all said the same thing then….she follows up saying if Mary rallies around Brittani

The moderators steps in to help her and Whitney days “thanks bc I’m about to get fired”

Another solid and fun RHOP reunion installment. Monique is such a queen. She spoke without guile, and those women shut up and listened to her. No-one else could command that respect, IMO.
