Members Gray Bunny
Oh damn! Harsh. I hope this sets her mind right. When I heard this was DUI #4, I knew she'd have to do time. Teresa, Jenn, now the Grande Dame. Not an exclusive club I'd want to be a member of. I do think they could easily do a season without her. They've set themselves up nicely, as we've seen at the reunion. Castmembers who might've been on the chopping block are now pretty much guaranteed at least one more year. However, their new center star of last year with a face surface like the moon completely fizzled and I could see her bouncing out of sheer humiliation and viewer backlash. (Although, a check's a check, so...)
Members Taoboi
Yeah, that page has the blow-by-blow and reading off and on a bit with all the sad news dropping today as I wait on a phone call between BTG. She was on point sitting there in the court room as it's going down. Sadly, once I heard the 4th (and allegedly six now I guess) I knew as well. I was really shocked that they took her away IMMEDIATELY. Gizelle has a thing tonight according to another account so perhaps we will hear how she feels. Yeah...hopefully tonight for me and the reunion lol but I am sad to see Messy Mia go out like a punk. I know you know I was such a ride-or-die. A season without La Dame. Ok. But everyone back? hmmm...lol. I see Gizelle, Wendy, and Stacey back for sure. Even Keiarna. Now...Ashley...?
Members Cheap21
Im surprised she went tot jail immediately bc I thought for sure she'd go home first and would surrender at a later date. She's not a flight risk and the crime isnt as severe as manslaughter. Just wow
Members Taoboi
IKR!!! I was shocked. I can only assume it's because this is her sixth four DUI. It sounds like Rayvin was not even there. Though her cousin that was in the car per the show was.

Members Cheap21
MD justice system is NOT playing with her. They said Im listening and they used this video from the show as evidence AGAINST her. The DA claimed it shows just how entitled she was with ZERO accountability. She really should have kept this bc the only thing she was trying to accomplish was being petty towards Wendy. Should have thanked Wendy. God dont like ugly Edited February 27 by Cheap21
Members Taoboi
See? And as Daytime Fan has mentioned that was exactly what Karen was afraid of. smh. Getting ready for work so I hope it is still online by the time I get off. I want to hear the judge read her.
Members Cheap21
I can just picture the DA watching RHOP every week trying to trip her up. She didnt mention it but Karen was drinking in the finale too. In hindsight, she should have either taken this season off or just been a Friend of and focused on her case. As a Friend of, she wouldnt be pressured to answer questions and wouldnt need to film full time. Kind of what Alexia did in Miami S2 when Frankie had his accident. She showed up when she could, but her focus was on her family. Karen should have done the same

Members DaytimeFan
The bottom line is the judge was furious at every element of this case and threw the book at her. Karen's lawyer tried, and Karen and Ray tried, but there was no getting away from her previous record and the bodycam footage. Throw in that she went to the Miraval Spa (of all places!) before she was convicted and I really can't see how Karen's lawyer didn't prepare her for this outcome. The judge's tone of voice changed so radically once he started to sentence her, it was obvious what was about to happen. The prosecution didn't have to say anything. The judge has likely had his mind made up from the moment she was convicted. And who could blame him? Karen's strategy has been all wrong. She didn't take the deal, like Shannon did, or come to Court humble and contrite, like Luann did. Instead, Karen clung to the image that she is a leader in the community and that she has some platform to be an example. She is an example to nobody. I found listening to that sentencing hearing very disappointing. I really had high hopes that Karen was going to have hit rock bottom and show up to Court ready to face the music. Now, I hope she takes this jail sentence, takes accountability, and emerges a better person who is ready to be honest with herself.
Members Taoboi
Honestly I had hoped she would take the LuAnn approach to it. So I'm extremely disappointed she did not. And it was too little, too late. From what tweets I saw, that judge had her number. I do hope going forward she will take accountability which is what was wanted and needed.
Members Cheap21
and the thing is people would have forgiven her and shown grace bcb they did love and want to root for her. I know I did
Members Taoboi
Exactly!!!! Which is what LuAnn did. Now there will be an uphill battle for her when she gets out.
