Brandi was on WWHL tonight and, besides being sober for perhaps the first time ever on that show, spilled some interesting details about the reunion. Apparently she's in front of the firing squad for the first half of the reunion then something happens that causes everyone's "plan" for the reunion to fall apart and things get really truthful, this according to Brandi. Granted how this season has gone and how Kim has been lately, this could literally mean ANYTHING.

Thanks, BingCherry! I didn't watch last night b/c I couldn't bear to hear Trash Box Glanville ramble on. Plus, I don't watch Shahs anymore so I didn't care to watch Mike either.

And plan?

I don't believe the other women had or needed a plan. Brandi started the most sh-t, so she gets the most heat. Plus, I don't believe she was apart of the firing squad for the first half. I believe she was the whole reunion. Her tweets after filming the reunion verified. People at the reunion did too. They said she was dragged by Eileen & Lisa V.

And it's obvious that Kim was the other much deserved victim of the firing squad.

Plus, I don't believe much of what Brandi says for the fact that she embellishes and fabricates too much for me. This is the same woman who lied about magazine-gate last year.

Lmao irrelevant Kristin all the way out on the outskirsts. Even thirsty Luann is closer to the center.

And of course my goddess Bethenny is front and center with the flawless Ramona! I just can't wait!

NBA do you know if they show WWHL online at Bravo.com? I really want to see the episode where he had Bethenny. I missed unfortunately...

the last few episodes prove we don't need brandi for drama.. lisa Rinna has a temper and is a people pleaser.. which can rub people the wrong way ironically... shame andy cohen is blind to the fact that Brandi is just played out.

To those that say Brandi brings it at reunion time, this maybe true.. but must we suffer watching her all season just to get to the reunion? I say keep her off the show during the season and have her come out during reunion time. Orange County had Jo come back for the season 3 reunion even though she wasn't a cast member so it isn't out of left field.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
    • Of course!

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.

New episode from late 1973 or early 1974!
    • Coronation Street had a very good story where one of the characters befriended a man who she later learned had been involved in her husband's death - when told right it can be very powerful (not like AMC trying to make it a romance). ATWT almost had a big fire in mid-1994, so this seemed to be a "thing" with P&G at the time. I guess it fits the disaster backstage atmosphere.
    •   @jmgaw did not refer to Luke and Laura. Throughout 78 GH's ratings continued to rise as AW's fell. That turnaround was getting a lot of attention in the soap press with Scotty/Laura, Rick/Leslie/Monica etc . So the 90 min decision was a reaction to that. I guess the thinking was that 60 min expansion had worked so starting AW a half hour before might keep viewers from switching to GH at 3pm. I don't think anybody really thought it would work. The most sensible solution would have been to expand The Doctors and hope for a GH like turnaround, but for reasons unknown TD never went to an hour.
