Watching and I stand by my statement that Ramona is harmless. LuAnn put it perfectly: "I think when Ramona says something, she puts it out there and literally forgets about it the next day, so she had no problem coming to me for advice having totally forgotten that she had insulted me the night before." And Ramona's tagline: "If people cant handle the truth, its really not my problem". She isn't malicious and doesn't intentionally set out to hurt people. She is bluntly honest, says her piece and then moves on. She tries to not dwell on drama and yes her talking heads are fantastic

I disagree about Ramona.

Being blunt and honest is one thing. Ramona denies most of it tho or just brushes it off and won't ever deal with [!@#$%^&*] she's said. That to me is not entertaining. Own what you do and say. Defend it. Apologize for it. Whatever but own it.

She did try to bring Bethannys nd Jill together but in a awful and honestly kind of mean way. Tho Luann ensured that it wouldn't work, and that was kind of hilariously awesomely evil.

But it seems what redeems Ramona for most is her talking heads. For me they do nothing.

How does Ramona deny stuff when her biggest problem is that she says everything that's on her mind straight to people's faces and not behind their backs? Ramona doesn't deny the stuff she says and definetly doesn't hide behind the words she puts out there. I just finished watching episode 7 and she has candid talk with LuAnn where she acknowledges that she puts her foot in her mouth and speaks without thinking

Anyways that preview for the Moroccan trip that aired at the end of the episode was everything!

So much bitchiness here...lol

A few notes on Brandi

1. She said that Eddie Cibrian was clawing back child support from her. Turns out, no, he's taking back a $100,000 overpayment of alimony that she incorrectly received. Source: http://www.tmz.com/2014/02/20/eddie-cibrian-brandi-glanville-spousal-support-alimony-overpayment/

2. Brandi said on E!'s Hello Ross that her issues with Lisa stem from the following: "I felt like i was an employee at SUR and I'm not." Source: http://www.realitytea.com/2014/02/22/brandi-glanville-dishes-on-lisa-vanderpump-reunion-taping-and-eddie-drama-in-new-interview/

Thanks for revising your lies Brandi and for confirming that, indeed, it's all about the money.

Totally agree... BH has become the trashy Brandi show and I'm not interested anymore. I really hope they go back to their roots next season - lavish, wealthy, connected, powerful women. Brandi belongs on the OC... I would even tolerate her more as a full housewife on the OC.. can you imagine Tamra, Vicki and Brandi all going at it? That could actually be fun.

Brandi represents a huge portion of Beverly Hills honestly. It's a trashy city masked as classy. It like Hollywood has this weird perception of what it should be like that doesn't match at all what it is.

What they need is a Persian wife. That's what they are missing to fully represent BH.

And she absolutely should have been made a full wife. She's no different today than the last two seasons aside she's going after Lisa. She was amazing last season and has been about the only wife anyone has talked about this season.

    • I also wonder if it was considered controversial at the time to show a morally corrupt doctor?(another character troupe for Agnes Nixon, the upstanding male citizen who is hiding secrets back at home) Up until the early 1970s, prime-time would very rarely tell stories about the private lives of doctors, because advertisers tended to shy away from such content.
    • The only blonde I see is one of the actual women staring at first & then screaming & running later.  DAYS: Vivian's manservant Ivan is in a long curly red wig.

Y&R: long straight black wig is the actor Peter Barton whose character name I am blanking on.
    • I very much liked office Cleary and the actress who portrayed her (as you say, Mary Peterson).  A shame her turn didn't evolve into a contract role.   BTW, does anyone know the timeframe/years that Betty Rae served as casting director?  If i understand correctly, she not only led the effort for contract roles, but also for shorter 13- and 26-week roles.  IMO, GL had LOTS of very well-casted, limited roles, too. I'm surprised the actors throughout the soap industry, and especially P&G actors, have not assembled a book or something similar, praising Rae.  Each actor could write a few paragraphs or a page of text describing his or her experience.
    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
