LMAO at the NYC reunion with Jill trying to be super fake and apologetic and the ladies called her out at every turn. Ramona says that she tried to get her to not film with Bethenny so that would sabotage her show and Jill calls her a liar. Alex confirms what Ramona said by saying Jill said the same thing. By the end of that exchange, Jill was admitting that she was wrong and apologizing. But I thought they were lying? She was such a snake. And to end the reunion saying she didn't know if she could come back. Bitch please! You love the attention and we all know you DID return. She was so full of herself.

Kelly came across even more delusional at the reunion than she did on Scary Island bc a least time had passed, she'd seen herself on tv and could process things but she STILL bore no responsibility and built the women up to be systematic bullies. Crazy!

I did have to get a chuckle when she admitted that she didn't even want to go on the vacation but was forced to by Bravo. Made total sense to me bc I was wondering why she would go. Andy quickly said that wasn't true but we all know he was lying. Bravo made her go. Also interesting to note that Bethenney said she didn't leave on her own but she was forced off the island and had to be escorted off by a producer. She was that insane.

What made season 3 of NY so great was all the crazy drama that was going on off screen. Even when the cameras aren't rolling those ladies are always at each others necks. Jill was usually the most vicious, always using the show and the tabloids to go after whichever housewife she saw as an enemy at the moment. She really went to great lengths trying to sabotage Bethenny, and she was always vile when it came to Alex & Simon.

LOL Jill was so pathetic! Look at Bethenny now, about to have a NATIONALLY syndicated talk show this fall. And where and who is Jill Zarin????

what a dumb ho. And to think that she went bonkers bc Bravo was giving Bethenny her own show. Bitch should have stayed in her lane and rided this ish out bc Andy's handing out spinoffs to anyone these days!

So... I am enjoying RHoOC, but it needs to step up into second gear right about now. Good scenes with Tamra and her mom, I guess the point of those scenes was to paint Tamra in a better light... but that doesn't mean that everything she said about herself wasn't the truth.

Brooks is so slimey and shady, blech.

Re RHoNY. I enjoy LuAnn sometimes so I'm glad she is returning.

I wouldn't mind Jill returning for a little while, if only because her shadow looms so large over the current NY cast, and because after reading this thread, I am reminded how that toxic witch needs to be called out once and for all. The way she treated Bethenny was especially awful.

Just finished Season 2 NYC Reunion... wow, I'll say it again: I'm amazed they brought back Kelly Bensimon for another season, let alone 2 seasons! They all thought she was cookadoodledoo from the get-go. Ugh, waste of airtime. Moving on... it's so interesting to see how the friendships changed from season 2 to 3. Alex & Jill were supportive of each other; Bethenny & Ramona got into it a couple times; Ramona not liking Alex; Bethenny being close to Jill and LuAnn; everyone thinking Kelly was confusing/contradictory/in her own "Kelly world".

Also, back then in 2009, Andy Cohen had a little more weight to him and it definitely showed in his face. Not a good look on him.

I started getting into Real Housewives in early 2011 and NYC was one of the last that I caught on to (but now it's one of my faves!) so I just purchased Season 4 which I'll be receiving sometime in the next week. I remember the reunion being absolutely toxic with constant bickering, but I didn't see all of the season, so it'll be nice to finally be caught up on *all* NYC seasons :)

Season 4 of NY gets a bad rap IMO, it was actually pretty good up until Jill and her crew started up with that Ramona's an alcoholic campaign and went on about mean tweeting as a way to "ice out" Alex (man Kelly was so stupid she couldn't even be subtle about the fact they were trying to get Alex kicked off the show, remember that awkward breakfast scene?).

Cindy was a terrible addition too, and then that reunion which I consider to be one of, if not the nastiest I've seen from any reality show. Honestly though all they really had to do for season 5 was fire Kelly, Cindy, and LouMan so Jill wouldn't have her minions, bring in Carole, Heather, and Aviva as newbies/friends and you could have had a much better season.

Season 4 started out well.. I still laugh at Luann on the camel to this day LOL

What is weird is that when the season started, Jill and Alex were on the outs but made up. Alex was getting along with everyone it appears.. but then I remember cracks starting to form when Kelly/Cindy went to Alex's party and they were being all snooty about going to Brooklyn.. and then leaving a minute after getting there.

By the time of the Africa trip, Luann and company were torturing Alex. They saw her as the weaker of the trio of Ramona/Sonja/Alex, imho.

Though I still remember the scene where Kelly was slamming Sonja's house and stating how in disrepair the house was and that Sonja was not dealing with a full deck. The only person to defend her was Luann... but once season 5 rolled around, viewers were treated to Sonja in the Grey Garden variety. How eerie that cray cray Kelly was on the mark for once and no one believed her LOL

However, I think Jill was the lead in her group of mean girls and even if Kelly/Cindy/Luann were axed.. Jill would have easily recruited Aviva/Carole/Heather against Ramona. With Luann being left alone, she wasn't able to be effective in recruiting people against Ramona and by the reunion, everyone was dumping on Luann at the reunion.. it was wonderful :)

With that said, with Luann signing on this late.. will she have a slightly smaller part then the other housewives? Perhaps be downgraded to friend of?

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
