According to CBS SID: A source from the set says that Michael Muhney was due to tape his last episodes as Adam sometime during this month, but he'll remain on contract for a while longer, and they might bring him back later for further appearances.

Muhney himself is quoted as saying he knows the writers have some long term plan to rehabilitate Adam, ie. he won't be killed off.

The actor is making a big announcement on his Twitter site in early April.

There's no way Adam can be redeemed.

After the time they have spent fawning over Muhney and patting themselves on the back for surviving Engen's departure I'm sure they will try to keep him around. They also need Adam in some capacity to help prop the truly pathetic Nick and Victor.

Good riddance.

Y&R would be foolish to pass up a chance at who killed Adam for May sweeps. Maybe Adam's ghost will be making appearances after he dies along with reenactments of the crime.

At least he's gone. Imagine the show crawling back to Engen etc. to continue to make Adam viable. But then I agree Adam should be killed off or jailed for a loooonnnnggg time unless they say everything since May 2009 has been Sharon's nightmare.
