February 26, 201015 yr Member Wait...so you're telling me everyone in the industry voted on who should get the pre-noms? Something don't smell right... Yes, they took away the inhouse vote this year. So anyone could submit themselves and it was voted on by daytime as a whole.

February 26, 201015 yr Member I wonder why AMC has 3 in the Lead Actor slot, while everyone else has 2? I love TK, but he should be tooken out LoL.. Why? He turned Pratt's craptastic writing into gold, he should be on their more than anyone(next to AM) MCE I'm surprised she didn't submit lead since Annie ate the show for most of the year Edited February 26, 201015 yr by Zendall Fan
February 26, 201015 yr Member The only actors on OLTL last year who have tapes to win are Florencia Lozano and maybe Bree- Florencia would have WON any category.) I'm not sure about that. Her acting is very overly mannered, OTT, and comical. I don't think it would translate well into one tape. I can imagine people sitting around watching her awful "acting" in the KAD story, or when Blair fell out the window. Silent scream and face screwing over and over. I have no idea why Bobbie Eakes is a Lead and MCE, who dominated the show in 2009, is Supporting. I don't even see how it's about some sort of hierarchy because Bobbie has only been on the show a few years more than MCE, hasn't she? Edited February 26, 201015 yr by CarlD2

February 26, 201015 yr Member Thank god that Van Hansis didn't get pre-nommed. His board must be going into overdrive of disbelief that the greatest actor who ever walked the planet was overlooked. LOL.
February 26, 201015 yr Member I read on Nancy Lee Grahn's twitter that she decided NOT to enter herself this year...It seemed odd, but she didn't elaborate on why.
February 26, 201015 yr Member Its about time AM puts herself in lead where she belongs. Its such a cop out when actress' who eat the show put themselves in supporting. Sweeney deserves the win.
February 27, 201015 yr Member Looking at this list, my oh my has it been such a weak year for acting on the soaps, and no surprise, the writing generally sucked too. I'm glad GH gave a pre-nom to Sarah Brown, she carried that show during her final months there. I didn't expect them to pre-nom her though, given that she was written out during November sweeps. Not feeling the Y&R pre-noms, but Y&R has always sucked when it comes to this. I only hope that Y&R is passed on ONCE AGAIN for Writing and Drama Series, these hacks don't deserve to be validated in any way. GH's Drew Garrett is the strongest out of all the Younger Actor pre-noms, if he doesn't get nominated and win for that category, I'll be surprise. But then again, it always comes down to the reels these actors pick. Edited February 27, 201015 yr by Y&RWorldTurner

February 27, 201015 yr Member I'm shocked Robin Strasser and Florencia Lozano didn't get pre nominations. They are the best acresses on oltl. I would have replaced Robin and Florizna with either Erika, Hilary, or Illene (who were great but Robin and Florencia deserve it more than them). What a disappointment.
February 27, 201015 yr Member I think Scott Evans is MILES ahead of Drew Garrett. I think Drew Garrett is a horid, nasty, excuse of an actor who is good at two things: 1) furrowing his brow 2) screaming
February 28, 201015 yr Member It reminds me of Uta Hagen's emmy nomination in the mid 80's for OLTL. She was an esteemed acting teacher. Uta Hagen was on OLTL??? How bizarre! Esteemed is an understatement, she was pretty much revered.
