I'm a little embarrassed--I only just realized he was one of the stars of the epic 80s miniseries Jewel in the Crown (to be fair, while I loved the series, I watched it back as a teen in the 90s.) Interesting COmic-Con panel, though nothing major. Completely superficially, David Benioff has got to be one of the most attractive TV writers around (and DB Weiss isn;'t half bad, either...) I'd seen pics of them shooting this scene but totally forgot I never saw it on the show It's hilarious how Pycelle just straightened out and then hunched down again. That was very cool but I guess since they edited it out that that means this aspect to Pycelle may not be official canon and he may in fact be an old feeble man.
