No. And they usually have the cast credits on Friday, but this is the last episode of the week, so they aired them today, even though they apply to Monday and Tuesday as well, since they would have been Thursday and Friday barring pre-emption (which is why Ford was listed, since he appears on Tuesday).

I liked the little hint that Renee and Nigel will team up to take on Kim, we'll see how it goes, but the fact that they even chose Renee and Nigel for this task is one of those reasons why I feel OLTL is written and produced by people who are actually fans of the show. OLTL has the best little rep company of recurring players.

They also use Renee much more now than they did under Higley or Malone. They used her and Addie much, much more before the writer's strike.

Clint and Kim are absolutely magical and surprisingly tender so far, but it makes sense that Nigel and Renee would gun for her.

Did Renee have any storyline on his return? I know she had a decent amount the first time he was there.

My favorite part of today's show was Dorian, the tension she felt during what should have been a happy Christmas, slowly escalating to horror and finally, acceptance. The way she so resignedly accepted Mitch's threats at the end, not even trying to show defiance, was great soap. Robin's face said so much, Dorian being at a low, especially contrasted with the diva moment black fur she was wearing.

But all he gave her was that dreadful hypnosis story. Her involvement these last two years has made much more sense to me.

I also thought Dorian's face at the end today was devastating. And yes, Matthew and Danielle and the walking killed me.

I think this has been a great week for One Life to Live...

I love the stories with Mitch and Dorian. But I think the writers must think we are stupid. Because if this was a real situation, why wouldn't Dorian just go to Bo and say "Hey - Mitch told me if i didn't fire you, he'd kill my family...Could you go along with it, just to save my family?" We all know Bo would go along with that. Anyone would.

Am I the only one who doesn't like this Danielle character? She reminds me of a much worse/more obnoxious/female version of Todd. I think she is a very good actress, but they continually write her to be more and more unlikable.

And I agree, what's the point of Destiny if Matthew is going to have all his major storylines with this Dani girll? I like Des.

I think this has been a phenomenal week. Melissa Archer (Natalie) is phenomenal, and Jerry verDorn is very good too as Clint!

Gigi makes me nauseous. And I mean, really, physically, ill.

    • This is (maybe) overly simplistic and nonsoapy, but Doug needs to go to Gamblers Anonymous, to deal with the addictive neurological excitement hits that gambling gives him - and which control his life. Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her.
    • YT keeps commending GL clips to me. I discovered Kathleen Cullen was on in Christmas 1987. Was there any talk of making it permanent  or was this just a special visit? I wish they had made the visit permanent. I liked her chemistry with Grant Aleksander.
    • I'm not sure it's as unpopular as you think.  I just think the show knew they were in a bind, and needed a proven couple for the viewers to invest in. Trying to reunite Vanessa and Ross had just failed in 87. I don't think Ed and Holly's affair was well received, as Simon and Garrett had a brother/sister chemistry. Enter Billy and Vanessa, who give you history and an out not to try and do a Josh/Reva/Billy triangle, which would've really wrecked the relationship between Josh and Billy. I'd have been ok with trying Vanessa/Ross again, and doing a Vanessa/Ross/Holly/Billy quad for a while. I hated Nadine. HATED. She had to be the most insufferable also-ran before ATWT's Julia Lindsay. This is where I wish I knew Roger's history better.

    • GROSS. Michael Swan was hot back in his ATWT days. Now he's 76 and WAY past his hot years.
    • Since she kidnapped, locked up and tried to kill her father's wife I'd say that is still a pretty big deal
    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
    • No. There might have been a slight pause for dramatic effect after his "death," but pretty soon after they showed him in France getting plastic surgery and getting involved with his doctor, then planning with her to bring Christina to France. (She thought he had good reason to do it; she wasn't a bad person or anything). Now that I think of it, there must have been some kind of pause before that, during the 70s. Rita was accused of killing a private patient for an inheritance when she lived in Texas. Part of the backstory was that Roger had been there, too. Not sure exactly when or how long that was.
