I so want to go to this. I have a bad feeling there won't be many tickets sold.

Attend a New York Times Celebration of All My Children

December 9, 2009 8:13 AM By Jesse Murray

The New York Times celebrates All My Children

So how cool is this? To celebrate All My Children's 40th anniversary (special episodes air on January 4th and 5th, 2010), the paper of record -- the New York Times -- is hosting a Q&A all about All My Children. It will feature series creator Agnes Nixon, along with Susan Lucci (Erica), Debbi Morgan (Angie), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), and executive producer Julie Carruthers. The coolest part? Look for a special reading from one of the show's original scripts (1970, people!) -- with Agnes reading the part of Mona, Erica's much put-upon mother, and Susan (obviously) reading as Erica.

The event will be held at:

TheTimesCenter

242 West 41st Street

New York City

Tickets are $30. To order tickets, call 1.888.NYT.1870 or visit http://artsandleisureweekend.com/

Agnes and Susan reading an old-school script? That's incredible. Lord knows Agnes will probably take 20 minutes to read one line of dialogue, but I wish I could see it!

OMG, no you didn't say that about sweet little Agnes

I've love to throw a couple tomatoes right in JHC's face!

Julie Carruthers shouldn't be there. They actually should have tried to see if any of the past cast members from the glory days would have come back to do this type of thing. Exciting none the less! I hope someone tapes it and leaks it online.

Mainly the time of year, just after the holidays. I hope it does fill up well because I'd feel so bad for Agnes if it didn't. She mentioned this in an interview recently and she was so excited about it.
