I'm a big Taylor Swift fan so hooray!!! :) Hope she takes hope Album of the Year and Best Country Album - those are the ones I want out of all her nominations. Happy for Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon too. I think "Use Somebody" will take Record of the Year and "Single Ladies" for Song of The Year. I hope Keri Hilson wins Best New Artist - too bad Lady Gaga was ineligible cause I think she would've won this if she was.

I would've liked it better if LG's "Paparazzi" was nominated instead of "Poker Face".

I didn't like BEP getting a nod for Album of the Year - I thought they only had 4 good songs to listen to, the rest was pretty bad.

I hope Kelly wins for Best Pop Album. It'd be MUCH deserved. However, I think "My Life Would Suck Without You" should have gotten a Best Pop Song nod.

Congrats to Britney for her nomination.

I really want to know why the voters have such a hard on for Beyonce. She's so incredibly overrated IMO.

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just so happy right now. I don't think I've ever been happy for a music artist winning a music award - maybe because I never really cared before. I just wanted her to win Best Album so badly because it's one of my fav albums of all time. This is just the beginning of a long great career. So happy for my Taylor Swift...my T-Swizzle.

Got these right too. :)

I'm happy for Swift too, out of all those nominated for Album of The Year, her album had both the most commercial and critical success in 2009.

I can't say I'm a HUGE FAN, but considering the competition, she had the best shot of winning.

Swift is now the youngest person to ever win Album of the Year.

Though really, the Grammy's have lost a lot of their credibility in recent years, but they still carry some prestige.

Here's a list of all the winners in every category: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/01/arts/music/01grammylist.html?pagewanted=all

I can't believe Beyoncé swept the show with 6 awards. I would only give her the award for Vocal Performance. Then again, she didn't have much of a competition, did she? She's gonna win next year too, probably.

Single Ladies song of the year?

Hasn't Single Ladies existed for far over a year? Or is that just the overexposure that has me thinking that.

Taylor Swift is lovely, and is a talented songwriter, but MAN she needs to really step it up and work on her live vocals. I can't imagine sitting through a whole concert of her singing flat.

How was Lady GaGa ineligible to win Best New Artist? I recall one year Shelby Lynn won the award and she had 6 or 10 albums out by that time.

So now Beyonce has more Grammys in one showing for female performer than Alicia Keys, Lauren Hill and Norah Jones.

I wish they would put Beyonce only in the pop category or the R&B category and not both.

Can someone please tell me what hell is the difference between Song of the Year and Record of the Year?

Miseducation was R&B Perfection. A perfect blend of inspiration, fun dance songs, love songs and still holds up well even today. But then again, R&B hasn't changed that much since the 90's. But I respect Lauryn for pulling out when she did. Her next studio creation, under the conditions she was put under would have been awful. You can't make a wannabe acoustic artist become a studio creation.

Not to say that "Unplugged" was brilliant or even better than Miseducation. But I have mad respect for her leaving the money and fame behind to keep what she views as her self-respect.

    • Keith still comes off younger to me. I thought he wasn't that bad for his first day.
    • To be fair, they were only recently step-siblings.  Their parents married within the past few years.  And, Draper's father Ansel was not coy about the fact that he married Raven's mother, Nadine, for the money. And, Raven's sort of sticking it to April that not only can she have a baby (April has a heart condition that makes it difficult for her to carry a child to term), she could also have April's man, if she wanted him.
    • Keith D Robinson is 49. Maurice Johnson is 46.
    • I hope they give him more to do than just be a prick as you say. I can see how viewers would like him because the actor is so charming despite the character being such an absolute pain.    I would agree. And there was also the undercurrent of Raven and Draper sort of flirting with each other. The actors play that attraction and it worked so well in that scene.
    • Daniel Cosgrove is PERFECT as the sleezy politician. This might be my favorite role of his. All of these people keeping Kristina’s secret is so annoying. I really want her to pay.
    • What did happen to Beth between 86 and 89? Did she have amnesia?
    • I actually thought he came off as younger. It's so hard to buy Martin as Nicole and Ted's son unless they had him when they were 12.
    • @chrisml Isn't remarkable that, on a soap whose brand is built on twists and mysteries, that Raven's last straw was as simple as Logan saying that she was incapable of loving Jamey.  In the episode when Raven exit's and leaves Jamey with April, I can remember feeling the subtext that Raven is also trying to talk herself into leaving him behind.  There's so much in that little scene.  She's trying to stick it to Logan for saying she was a bad mother.  She's both granting April's wish, and damning her with the old adage of being careful what she wished for.  And, she's hinting to Draper that she's going to boff his father. It remains my favorite scene, and it still blows my mind that was not the end of that episode.
    • Oh lord not Drew just figured out it was both Nina and Portia that set him up. Willow WILL never leave this man. Ric taking the case purely just to spite Sonny is [!@#$%^&*].ing hilarious.
    • And in addition to Patti being de-aged, she was no longer a nurse, divorced from Len(fair enough) and her two children were not seen and barely mentioned. So basically she was a totally new character. For newer viewers it didn't matter but any loyal viewers would have been wondering about all the changes with Patti. Sarah Whiting always puzzled me. The writers finally decide to acknowledge Jo's family and do so by making up a never mentioned adopted teen. Why not just bring in Tracey, Jo's actual grandaughter? As for Liza, perhaps it would have been wise to rest the character when Sherry left. They were big shoes to fill and her Liza was so identified with Travis. I don't recall what was going on in the story at that time but if they knew Sherry was leaving, write it so Liza would leave town to care for an ailing Janet and take a breather with the character for a few months.
