Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
I thought it was 2.2 maybe they keep changing it or something. AMC brings in alot of viewers for very stupid storylines. I think this will be another good week for ATWT, I hope so . With Mike back for 3 days it might help bring them up this week. Members jfung79
Yay for ATWT! I don't think it was preempted in Texas because of Fort Hood last week during the shooting (I think that was after ATWT aired), but this week it was preempted for the memorial - so I am not super optimistic about an increase. Members boldfan01
Y&R and B&B aired at 2 AM and 3 AM respectively, which meant they did not get counted in the ratings tally. DAYS was also preempted in NY for the parade and aired at 3 AM, and Friday's show also showed a slight dip. Not sure if ABC preempted AMC or not that day. Members aMLCproduction
I also agree OLTL moves to fast and skips so many emotional beats of their stories. OLTL and ATWT will get their pink slips within 18 months. I promise you that. Don't know which one will go first. Y&R is so boring right now
Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
Why do you have to be like that. I guess you don't care about people losing there jobs. I hope you get your pink slip too.

Members marceline
Some perspective please? These are TV shows, not economic development initiatives. TV shows get canceled all the time. The entertainment industry is risky by its very nature. If the people involved wanted job security, they'd have become insurance actuaries. Members Soapsuds
That or produce and write better soaps instead of this [!@#$%^&*] they are giving us now.
Members aMLCproduction
Being like what? It's a reality. The truth is only what I am speaking. I watched the cancellations of PC, AW, SB, Passions and GL. All the signs are there!!! Look at their numbers? So because I am stating the obvious, OLTL and ATWT will be done in less than two years, I dont care? I am jobless as is my mother. It's hard times out here. Of course I care. Ask Brian Frons if he cares! he's the one who is ruining OLTL over at ABC. Can't speak for ATWT Don't make an ass out of yourself by making assumptions about me. Your new here, fall back, pump your brakes

Members DRW50
Almost none of the soaps, except DAYS sometimes, play emotional beats now. I think OLTL does play them in some stories, when the personalities are consistent, but often the wrong stories end too fast and the wrong ones go on too long. Also true for too many soaps. Others are lucky to have more ground to lose.
Members Cyberologist
I agree!!! I'm just curious as to what bump Franco will give GH and will it maintain after he's gone I really can't wait for this one though I'm such a fan of his. I also wonder how Marsha Thompson will play out Guza doesn't really write Black characters well (when he does we are very sterotypical) I still think Franco in the hands of this writer is the scariest of all about this event... Members brimike
Wasn't that the Yankees Ticker-Tape parade? I know the Northeast didn't get CBS soaps that day. They aired at, like, 2:37 AM.

Members jcar03
I think people are overestimating James Franco's appeal. I don't see this being talked about in the mainstream media whatsoever.
