September 3, 200916 yr Member WoW GH promed super super heavy guess it didn't pay off. B/B took a dive Go DAYS!!! Edited September 3, 200916 yr by Cyberologist
September 3, 200916 yr Member Wow, the demos are just tragic for AMC. THIS is the show ABC is investing tons of money in? THIS is the show that ABC will probably cancel OLTL for next year?! Seriousky?! Nice to see DAYS rising and the only soap up on last year. I guess when you stop trying to do big, shocking storylines or gimmicky events all of the time and just focus on good, old fashioned soapy storytelling, the viewers will come. And stay.
September 4, 200916 yr Member Have you seen ABC's prime-time ratings?? ABC is having a horrible summer. I expect the soaps to tick up once the fall season starts. GMA & World News are down as well. Nightline may be their only program up over last year. Whoopee...

September 4, 200916 yr Member Quick, someone send this to Maria "No Mistakes!" Arena Bell! I think Chuck "Tornado Danceathon" Pratt and Bob "Pointless Sweeps Stunts" Guza need to take notice of that long before MAB...
September 4, 200916 yr Member I think Chuck "Tornado Danceathon" Pratt and Bob "Pointless Sweeps Stunts" Guza need to take notice of that long before MAB... They suck, but at least they save their "shock" and "awe" and stunt tactics for sweeps. With MAB and her henchmen, every storyline has to be stunty and all about "shock" and "awe."
September 4, 200916 yr Member As for this week's ratings, very happy for DAYS! The show continues to rock! I'm glad DAYS is out of the 1's, though I can't imagine why... the show is just so... pointless. There's just so many new faces and a lack of real true energy, intensity, etc... which equals no drive for me to watch. I hope their numbers sustain til Carly and Vivian return (dare I hope they hit No. 2 after their returns?)
September 4, 200916 yr Member Frons has to be wiping the sweat from his brow. This will make OLTL's cancellation so much easier for him. How he can justify keeping AMC is the big question.
September 4, 200916 yr Member Great to see ATWT slowly creeping up these past three weeks -- almost passed GH! Let's hope they can keep momentum. Fingers crossed that the show can be saved.

I hope their numbers sustain til Carly and Vivian return (dare I hope they hit No. 2 after their returns?) Days was a show I once never missed a moment, and now I skip entire episodes. It's been a year or more of non-stop EJ and Nicole, and their freaking baby can go away also! It's a secret? Ok, so don't talk about it every day! Isn't there a story these characters can star in? Do they have to discuss this ridiculous baby every day for two years? How people say this is a good soap opera is beyond me. We lost the ever fab Jan Spears and Bonnie Lockhart for this? I love Kate, I love Victor, but it has ceased to be enough.
September 4, 200916 yr Member Yay for ATWT going up and nearly beating GH! Hopefully, they don't lose the momentum.
