Members DRW50 Posted December 16, 2009 Members Share Posted December 16, 2009 I agree. The show was boring and dumb but at least managed to not be offensive and crass and regressive. I think the Newman family was much more interesting then, and Adam at that time had much more potential than what he's become. There was a long term, potentially great story about the Newmans estrangement, which was all shot to pieces as soon as Sheffer and Rauch showed up and the carnage started. It's hard to see these depths and take the stroy this serious when it is just not done well enough to show it. Overall, I think I'm done with this show forever. MAB will probably put it into a grave, but even if she doesn't, there will be a different writer that will do just as bad.
