A better question is when HAVEN'T you.

Again, that doesn't answer the question. But I'll answer it for you. I've practically been a saint since my hiatus from SON in May. I have seen countless posts bashing actors I like and I've kept my mouth shut. You, on the other hand...

To be honest I think Tyra was a pathetic way to replace Dru and they kept her for so long because they didn't want to admit that Eva and Tyra were duds. I'm sure they were better actresses than Eva at the audition, but tptb probably thought "she's sort of famous outside of daytime, let's use her anyways maybe she'll bring in more people."

Precisely.

Ironically, I actually think Jamia Simone Nash was a decent actress for her age. If she had been playing a well-written character who didn't feel the need to break into song every 5 minutes, she could have been a viable member of the next generation.

And people can't seem to realize that the writers just MIGHT be playing this to show how being raised by a crack ho and bounced around in the foster care system can psychologically twist and damage a child. Granted, he finally did get a decent foster family, after he was essentially grown, and the damage was done. This show has always loved to play childhood trauma warping characters... heck, just look to Kevin for proof of that.

These idiots are leaving way too much open for the viewers to interpret what they want into these storylines. They started with thinking that the horrendous Eva/Tyra could ever replace VR/Dru! We viewers are more educated today than ever before and they wonder why their ratings are in a free fall. It says ALOT that GH's Guza won the top award for writing; that in itself should be an eye opener even though I think that GH is far better than Y&R these days.

But you don't know when to let that sleeping dog lie! You just keep bringing up the same ole sh!t and it seems you are just itching to pick a fight with someone every effing time you post whether or not someone agrees with you and heaven forbid we disagree with your thoughts.

It's not outlandish if you play it like having a crack ho for a mother turned you into a perverted freak. They haen't played it that way so far, another casualty to horrendous pacing and missed beats.

You like to throw around the word crack ho. Do you know any? I know plenty of them. & I'm sure their children don't want to do relatives or relatives they thought was related. Maybe you should talk to some crack hos children & see where their heads are at. I don't think his mother being a crackhead have anything to do with him wanting to sleep with somebody he thought was a relative. Maybe he got that from the foster system.

Do I know any crackheads? No... I don't associate with such people.

So you don't know how crack head children will act. So you just pulling stuff out your ass. Or you just prejudging things. If you don't know what the hell you talking about. Why say on such a thing? I hate to say stuff comes off as racist. But uninform people can come off as racist & silly too.

Well, scryber, you just flipped the top box on the 10,000$ pyramid. That's EXACTLY why this story isn't that outlandish. Until Tyra came on the scene... Devon never mentioned the bitch ONCE. The writers put out alot of crap, especially lately... it's just that some are big, fat crybabies when the poop SL's are given to black characters. Well, it's a new day, honey.... and that means the black characters get crap SL's like everyone else. Equal opporotunity to suck, is what it's called.

Well, one can ususally deduce that children of crackheads will have some kind of issues. If Devon's mother had been white, and addicted to Meth.... I'd have said the exact same thing. My point is that this show has a long history of childhood trauma affecting the adult characters and coloring their actions. Jill's father abandoned the family when she was 12... she spent her whole life marrying older men, in search of her lost father figure. Kevin and Terrible Tom, need I say more? Devon certainly didn't have the loving upbrining Lily had, did he? I suppose your'e going to tell me that crackheads make perfectly good parents? If you want to believe that, go right ahead.

Oh, this is quite offensive!

I didn't grow up with a crackhead for a parent(and thank God for that), but many people do survive and go on to lead productive lives, without letting the baggage of their parents mistakes affect them as adults. You know, for someone who champions for progressive stories in the form of gay romance, you sure as hell have a very limited world view.

And BTW, crack is not just a "black person's drug." Just like meth isn't a "white person's drug." Just ask thespian researcher, Tatum O'Neal.

By your line of thinking, I guess poppers are only a "gay person's drug."

Since you don't know & don't want to know about crack addicted children because it's a black thing. Why are you making racist remarks on something you don't know & not willing to find out about. I tell you uninform remarkd comes off as racist & stupid.

Maybe the writers don't know how to do straight lace gay romance. Maybe they'll do flaming gay romance with all the hip switching. Maybe they waiting for the Gay pride parade & so they a pick something from that. Maybe Philip 3rd or Rafe will meet their love at the parade.

He has a problem when people complain about the lack of storylines for the black characters. He does the same thing over at SOC. Saying black people been represented now it time for the gay storyline. What black people problems have to do what they do for the gay storylines they not writing. Black people should just sit in the corner & except any storyline while they writer for the gays now.

Like I said I don't want to make everything racist but it sounds he have something against black people.
