Dan when I saw you had created this thread I got my hopes up Holly would be back. I'm so glad she is. Is it just for a day? I guess a day is better than none.

I know Holly and Olivia were friends. Will her return be to see Olivia? Or will she be with Blake? I would love to see her in scenes with Ed again.

Since they keep bringing back Jenna's ghost I wish they could have Nadine's ghost return once more to see Frank.

I can't believe Holly just faded into the woodwork. She was on recurring and they basically just stopped using her at all. Was she ever officially off? If so, I don't even remember a specific point in time. Sorta like how Celeste on Days just kinda disappeared.

It was right after the Sebastian story bombed in 2005. My guess? I think Maureen was just about as thrilled about the story as we were and complained. So Wheeler kinda blacklisted her save for some important moments like Ross' death.

Holly just vanished around 2005, after some increasingly infrequent appearances. She last appeared briefly in 2005 or 2006, at Ross' funeral. I think her Soapcentral or Wiki profile said she had gone off to be with her mother. Was that ever on the show?

So does that mean she will be making more than one appearance? That's good. I hope she'll have some good scenes, which talk about her life as well as just Olivia (or Blake). I would like to see her make some appearances up to the finale but I know not to expect too much.

This is really what I needed to get through these next few months of GL. There are few good spoilers with this show now.

They didn't bring any vets back for AW's farewell, aside from Charles Keating, who popped up for the last few episodes.

Actually this is one of the first goodbyes I can remember since RH that is bringing back old cast members. It does feel tacked on, but if this hollowed out show finally being put down means I get to see Ed and Holly one more time, then I guess it's better than nothing.
