I just dont see Eden clicking with Jess, Cooper, etc.. her acting style just wont fit Y&R IMHO, and this is coming from someone who liked her on amc, watched imaginary bitches, and other things she has done.

I know this sounds mean, but I don't think Eden is as pretty as EH. The thing with Billy is that he goes for hot girls. Sure he LUURVES Mac's heart, but Chloe is too hot to just turn down for someone not hot. Clem has definitely gotten better looking, but to me EH is still leaps and bounds hotter than Clem. Plus Eden looks spanish (don't know what her ethnicity is) but she's just so ethnic looking that I couldn't buy her as Mac. And her squeaky voice is cute but I don't see her on Y&R either. She should do GH...i think she'd fit there.

Clem is playing Mac as written, but she has absolutely NO chemistry with anyone on that show, especially Billy Miller. There's no spark between those two, and Clem seems uncomfortable in closer, intimate scenes.

Mac is obviously a hard role to recast, as two recasts failed, people aren't sure about Clem, and even Ash Bash wasn't that well liked. But the writing for the character hasn't exactly been great either.

But anyway, maybe this talk should move over to the Potpourri thread, since it isn't strictly episode talk?

The character of Mac just needs to be scrapped all together IMO. AshBash is most likely never coming back, and all the other actresses who've played her never seem to click in the role.

I saw a Patty Jane promo today! Wish I could post it. SH and her character are about to get so much press. I can't wait for the big interviews that are coming up now that her identity has been revealed.

I'm lazy and didn't want to read through 14 freaking pages already. But, I just adore Nina/Tricia but especially with the Jill/Katherine scenes. The fact that she's hot on Cane's trail is an even bigger plus for me.

As far as Mac goes, I still think it's the vapid character and not the actress.
