May 24, 200916 yr Member Im on vacation with friends in PA. I have too missed you. IDK... but i think hes involved. Enjoy the cooler weather!
May 24, 200916 yr Webmaster I'll say this. While I do think having near 50 actors on contract (is it truly that high?), it makes some business sense. Instead of trying to lure an actor back for specific storyline purposes, the show will already have the actor signed on and said actor can't make any pricey demands. Imagine if Emma Samms was still on contract with GH, she could be used whenever they wanted, without the network having to change story depending on Samms' availability.
May 25, 200916 yr Member How is it that Kanan is Deacon on Y&R, but 'Brad' from Y&R isn't Brad on B&B?
May 25, 200916 yr Member How is it that Kanan is Deacon on Y&R, but 'Brad' from Y&R isn't Brad on B&B? Oh my God. It gets much much worse. Katie, Donna and Bill (along with Neil, Eric, Bridget) all look strangely like people from Genoa City. But Ashley and Lauren and Sheila (and, for guest appearances) Jack and Brad and Scott and Victor were all in LA, and rarely noted these resemblances. Felicia visited LA, and Brooke made a phone call there. We need to stop even asking questions like yours, our our brains will fry into dust, or we'll blink and smoke out like those fembots from Harry Mudd's robot planet.

I compiled this from theyoungandtherestless.com and cbs.com and memory (contract/recurring is my division, and yes, Lauralee Bell is on Y&R's list surprisingly) So, if this is roughly accurate, it says there are 33 contract and 11 regular recurring (two of which really aren't there right now or coming soon, I think) Contract Bergman, Bierdz, Bloom, Braeden, Case, Chapman, Cooper, D Davidson, E Davidson, Driscoll , Engen, Ford, Frantz, Goddard, Graziadei, Heinle, Hendrickson, Khalil, Leblanc, Linder, Luckinbill, Marcille, McClure, Miller, Morrow, O'Brien, Peeples, Rikaart, Thomas Scott, St. John, Stafford, Sursock, Walton, Recurring Bell*, Bregman, Douglas, Erin, Gross**, Kanan , Lagos, Marano, Schmidt, Shackelford, Weaver * On theyoungandtherestless.com (Don Diamont is also there) ** On CBS.com, Gross is still there
May 25, 200916 yr Member Hate Deacon. Hate Kanan. Agreed...the actor and character can stay far away from Y&R.
May 25, 200916 yr Member This still isn't confirmed, outside of Nelson saying he's hearing about it but they're keeping it secret. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen at all. Why would Decon coming to Y&R be top secret? I don't get it. Edited May 25, 200916 yr by Y&RWorldTurner

Why would Decon coming to Y&R be top secret? I don't get it. Deacon might have some economic resources. I forget. Did he leave LA with any $$? Assuming yes, Deacon might have hired that guy to get Daniel to forge art...and that will get Daniel in trouble and out of Amber's orbit. Amber and Deacon had a flirtation...so I'm assuming that maybe this is Deacon's ploy to get Amber back. That would be a pretty silly, superficial story, though.
May 25, 200916 yr Member Will he be bringing the ABCDEFG Brat with him??? I'm curious to see if he's more enjoyable on Y&R, like I find AF to be.

Ooooh...maybe THAT is why Amber mentioned her biological clock. Maybe their gonna saddle her with a little pre-teen. That could actually be amusing.... Edited May 25, 200916 yr by MarkH

Also, Peeples is out, and Gross was a contract character. Why are you looking at CBS.com or theyoungandtherestless.com? That's just people not updating the website. They currently have: 32 people on contract (with Driscoll 33, and 16 people on recurring (you're missing Tatyana Ali, Ann Betancourt, Tricia Cast, Michael Fairman, Yani Gellman, Karen Hensel, Jamia Simone Nash, Cassius Willis, Tonya Lee Williams.

Yeah, that's a better list. I was looking at both youngandrestless.com and cbs.com I can understand all the recurrings being missing (that's just my memory, though I would never have thought of some of those folks, like Ali, Willis, or Hensel). But I am shocked how out of date the contract stuff is. B&B is usually pretty good at their website.
May 25, 200916 yr Member Someone correct me if I am wrong, as I only tuned into B&B from time to time. Don't Deacon and Amber share a history with one another. She passed his son (with her late cousin) off as her child with Rick and Amber and Deacon had a flirtation with one another. Didn't she have a twin sister (in what was a dreadful storyline) that was involved with Deacon as well???? I could be wrong on the last part. Anyways, Deacon coming to Genoa City might be interesting and might be a good tie to Amber's history and past. Perhaps they will explore a romance between the two of them and see where it goes. Like many others, I do find AF more enjoyable on Y&R, than the times i tuned into B&B and caught her on there. SK and Deacon could work???

If they ever wanted "more Frantz", they could leave Amber at Y&R and send April (her twin) to B&B Edited May 25, 200916 yr by MarkH
May 25, 200916 yr Member Agreed...the actor and character can stay far away from Y&R. :D I just every time I see someone suggest Deacon should return to B&B! No, thanks!
