Members dm.
NB reports that Sean Kanan is indeed joining the cast of The Young and the Restless in the role of Deacon Sharpe, and will be involved in one of the ongoing storylines. http://tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The+Suds+R...n_NB.htm?isfa=

Members Y&RWorldTurner
I don't understand what he means by everyone denying it, but it's true? Why the hell would they keep him coming to Y&R a secret? He's never been on this show before. If it is true, I'm sure it's a short stint.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Someone mentioned in another thread that he might be involved in Phillip III's storyline. Is anything definite?

Members Aback
I love Sean Kanan and Deacon Sharpe. But ---- are they willing to reach the record number of 50 contract players? Especially considering that they have trouble writing for all of them?
Members Chris B
If anyone should've crossed over from B&B it's Rick to interact with Amber, but only short term since Kyle Lowder can't act.
Members MarkH
Yes, this is a big problem now. QUOTE (Chris B @ May 23 2009, 03:27 AM) If anyone should've crossed over from B&B it's Rick to interact with Amber, but only short term since Kyle Lowder can't act. Agreed on both counts. If the right Rick were there, he also has a history with Ashley.
Members Aback
It's almost as if whenever MAB doesn't know what to do with a character or a storyline, she adds a character, without writing off another. How many characters are there who are in Deacon's age range? Cane, Billy, Adam, Nick, to name a few. This is a big shortcoming of MAB's writing - IMHO. Members MarkH
Temporarily agreeing. I can't believe the canvas is going to stay this overstuffed. It is bordering on insane.
