It's hillarious it took them four episodes to marry Theresa & Alistair together. Also that dress is quite something. Alistair should avoid a career in the bridal industry.

As OTT and disgusting as Theresa marrying Alistair was, I always choke up during the Whitney/Theresa scene on 10/3/05. The acting rises above the writing for sure.

It's a good moment but its basically good acting shielding silly writing. Why oh Why Teresa needed to marry Alistair never made sense and only made things much worse for her but there you go.

I am always fascinated watching these clips (maybe more than if I was watching full episodes).

This one in particular gets delirious by the end. I know that Whitney was thrown into some type of Devils-esque JER therapy by this point (wasn't she whipping herself and refusing to breast feed her child?).

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought she was in whiteface, but no, it's just the post-production they used for Whitney's VR sessions. It works surprisingly well (a little better than when GL did this around the same time for Harley's comic book episode) but was VR a big thing in 2006?

Brook Kerr always sells this material. And even the wig.

I know JER passed not too long after Passions ended, but did he ever say what plans he had if the show had not been canceled?

I think he had checked out. From what I recall Reilly didn't want to go to DirecTV and was ready to promote Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas to headwriters by the 2nd year of the move to take over. Passions was cancelled before the second year of DTV so we never got to see MarDar's version of PSNS, but I would've liked to have seen their own vision for the show to see if they wouldve tried to return the show back to what it once was or if it wouldve descended further. Many here seem to be impressed with MarDar's DAYS run and Marlene's AMC run with PP.

I showed this to my husband and he asked - When can we watch this show... LOL. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. (If he's not just joking with me... which I sometimes am not sure about.)
