They were all effective but Paul's is the one that got to me most. Christopher Sean has the same ability Drake Hogestyn had –- to make me absolutely believe that his character cares deeply for his onscreen family and friends.
Another great episode.
Once again, I enjoyed the interactions that characters had with each other. Even with everything going on, Marlena was still strong for her children and grandchildren. Abe, Steve and Shane's and Roman and Kayla's eulogies stood out to me the most. Whoever wrote them, or if they were improvised by the actors, they did a really good job with them. I still think Roman should've had a scene at John's bedside where he told him all of this though. And I couldn't help but tear up a little when Brady led everybody in singing 'Amazing Grace' and during Paul's eulogy as well. You could tell that nobody is really acting here, but something about Christopher Sean has always hit very differently during this storyline, and that was on full display today.
I also liked that they mentioned that there was a live stream set up for people who couldn't make the service, because there are plenty of people lol
And I'm glad that Bo finally knows the truth about John and everything that happened. Bo demanding that Hope take him to the funeral was classic Bo, and it has me looking forward to tomorrow.
Definitely.
I've noticed that they've been using that stupid joke music a lot less too and I couldn't be happier.
