So we're calling him "The Cane" now? Like "The Fonz"? ;)

If only CBSD and Sony would relocate Y&R to Nashville....

(Do you think the Ryman Auditorium could be converted into a television studio?)

I'd say Adam needs to follow Suzanne Sugarbaker's advice, buy himself a wig, and get the hell out of town.

Ah, well. I just hope the conclusion to the "Who Killed Adam Wilson?" mystery is a good (and logical!) one.

Victor held Michael Scott (name?) prisoner in his basement, because Michael was having an affair with Victor's then-wife, Julia; and if I'm not mistaken, not only did he have a video camera installed, so that Michael would be "forced" to watch him and Julia have sex; but when Julia discovered what Victor had done, she miscarried her baby in a fall.

Not me. I'll never forget that scene when Mrs. Danvers oh-so-gently reminded Ashley that Sabrina always enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea. Me: "Well, I'm having a Coca-Cola, so make like a step 'n' fetch it!"

A-ha! Interesting parrellels. It sort of bothers me that CE still sort of plays Adam as a frat-boy wasp. I see now why there was all the talk of re-casting him before. Tom Pelphry would have been SO awesome in this role. But CE is doing a good job, nonetheless, i just want more evil if he is indeed going evil. That "evil" laugh he gave after making that call to Heather a few weeks was weak. MJ though, that girl can cackle!

It's not really about Estella for me. Nearly everyone can relate to how frustrating it is to be accused of something you haven't done. Then you have this working class woman who is unjustly caught in a war between the big boys. She's got this billionaire bully giving her "warnings". You can see how distraught she was at being accused of such an ugly thing and for me it pulls on the heart strings a bit. And it makes me want to slug Victor because I don't believe he'll apologize when he finds out the truth.

Sometimes soaps manage to tap into universal feelings. Earlier today I found myself tearing up at the promo of Starr finding out her baby is alive. Not because I care about Starr, but because the idea that such a fundamental loss can be restored taps into something bigger. Maybe some sort of universal wish fulfillment that we all know doesn't happen (or rarely happens) in real life.

When Sharon went crazy after Brad's death and we even got to see Doris after all these years, I was under the impression that MAB was planning a big storyline about her past, which would explain why Sharon was doing such things. Was it just me? Everything seems to be forgotten now.

There. Is that better Sylph? Not that this in anyway diminishes my love for TSJ. (Damn it didn't change, although I changed it in my settings. I'll work on it)

And Adam must not be killed off. It's clear that they have to kill off Cane. Lilly can't have two failed marriages before she graduated college.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
