I'm sure they must have something else for him. I hope.

I'm still disappointed about David. Why again did they make him Bo's son? Or go on that endless and anticlimactic Buchanan heir story which helped wreck his character?

Why did they have Todd smirking when Marty caught him with Tea? Isn't Marty supposed to be his great love? Is he hoping she was jealous?

Ugh, TSJ is awful. This stuff with Tea feels like filler, Todd is using her and nothing more. FL deserves better than this mess. It also makes Viki look dumber than usual.

Agreed 100%. She has it all whereas the other Rachels always lacked something.

She is sexy, gorgeous, a solid actress, likeable, strong, vulnerable..

Ellen Bethea was my favorite Rachel but she lacked a soapy, sexual spark. She gave off a real intelligence though.

That Mari Morrow chick was "Rachel the ditzy cokewhore". I hated that version of Rachel.

My favorite "Rachel" was Sandra P. Grant, whose Rachel killed Georgie Phillips. Her Rachel looked like she could actually cut a bitch (and, well, I guess she did, didn't she, lol?).

Oh, Georgie was great! Once Pam Long turned her from another one of Claire Labine's missteps into a serious whack-job. I hated that they had to kill her off, but, for me, the "Who Killed Georgie Phillips?" mystery was the best story featured on OLTL since the peak of the Paul Rauch era.

That was a perfect example of "You don't know what you've got until it's gone". JFP was loathed, and what she did to OLTL angered many of us online at the time.

And yet now, it's not looking so bad... to me, at least. Just my opinion. I would even take the Rappaports in a heartbeat over the Montezes and Morascos. (Putting on my flame-retardant suit now) LOL!

JFP's main flaw was 1) Friends of Jill and 2)Plot driven and she could care less about the show's history.. Nora was assassinated pretty much

I remember when Felicia Minei Behr called JFP's OLTL unwatchable.

I loved it more often than not.

I am not one of the whatshername haters either- the headwriter who wrote AMC...I semi enjoyed her plots, they were addictive

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
