Soap Hunk Pictorial

Dyl is quite funny in some interviews. Not LOL funny, but cute/adorable funny. He self-identifies as a dork, and you can't hate a hunky dork!

Speaking of which...

Blake Berris. Something about his pencil-neck self does it for me. I thought he was gross on DAYS, but this picture, even with his need to EAT SOMETHING, is pretty hot, IMO.

And also, David Lago. This is who ATWT's Noah should be mattress-shaking with. I'm all about the face, and Lago has it. Those eyes! Those gorgeous, gorgeous eyes! Too beautiful.

Oh, I like All-American. I just need a little quirk. A little something that makes you look twice. Martsolf just has that face and hair that I walk by on the street and haven't given a second glance to in probably ten years.

When I think of the flabby and moobed out men of GH (Rick Hearst, Ingo R, Maurice Benard, Tyler Christopher, Steve Burton), Eric Martsolf comes off as an adonis. Then I look at the tubbies on AMC (Jacob Young, Thorsten Kaye) and the anti-hunks of OLTL (the guy who plays the cop like he is in a coma all the time, Trevor St John, that kid who is in love with Starr), I wonder why every soap "hunk" isn't shown diagrams of Eric Martsolf before they step on set and told this is how they will be judged.

I'm a huge Lago fan. Bigtime. He's also one of these guys who is incredibly hot on screen and in photos - but when you see him in person, there's this whole "cute and adorable" thing going on. Which just makes it better.

Wow I always thought he was very handsome--never knew most people find him kinda odd looking. he has more character in his face anyway than many of the guys hired for soaps.

I had a big crush on Thom Bierdz as a kid--I never kne whe was gay but he just seemed, besides handsome, so likeable or approachable to me.

And one who isn't at all my typical type (a bit too steroetyped American hunk) I loved ATWT's Bailey Chase, looks wise, ever since his turn before ATWT on Buffy for 2 years or so

Would love to see more pics of who were considered the soap hunks of the 70s and even 60s

He exemplifies to me the dead boring look of too many stereotypical Soap Hunks at least in the post JER Days and Passion era if that makes ANY sense. I think he's undeniably attractive in a basic basic basic unmemorable way. I dunno I feel mean criticizing anyone's looks though he obviously has made a lot of money off his so I guess ther's no real prob

Fug-a FUG-FUG-FUG

And your pictures only confirmed it more, MarkyMark! ROTFLMAO

He doesn't even look good in underwear.

Ick. That butterface of his.

I'd rather have a V-8.

Kills me that hot mommas like Sharon and Phyllis would waste years of their lives with that gaper.

Oh, and another one I don't get- Brandon Beemer. That guy's face is SO gaunt, he is just so cut its almost painful, not in a good way. And he will not age well, either. Have a cupcake, Brandon.

And Greg Vaughn is so hot, it hurts.

1)BRANDON BARASH

2)Greg Vaughn

3)Mark Lawson

4)Don't laugh, Tyler Christopher has that smoldering, yet tired, yet kinda bloated, yet totally hot thing going.

I wish GH didn't suck so bad.

That's my top 3.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
