Unless the director's directing Vincent to play David as not caring about Krystal. I don't see that at all. To me Vincent plays it as David using Krystal Vincent's done a great job with David's motivations toward Lil A. His marriage to Krystal feels tacked on. Which makes perfect sense. Krystal is wishy washy. Instead of getting help she's clung to David but has a hard time dealing with David's extremes. She likes David as a person but his extremes turn her off especially since it underlines stuff everyone's already told her would be a problem with David. To me Bobbie plays Krystal as not able to deal with those she's burned bridges with & unable to turn a blind eye to David's issues. Vincent plays David like he doesn't care if Krystal stays or goes. She shouldn't but it's not a given she would've chosen him had he not drugged her. Had TPTB treated them like partners it would've been fine but the way it is now it's David The Evil Doctor & Krystal The Desperate Housewife. Like if House & Edie got married.
