You know something, comedic actresses like Marcia Wallace often dazzle in dramatic works...comedy is hard, drama is easy. Comedy is just tragedy plus time...it might not be all that campy...we'll see.

Either way, I'm delighted.

Comedy is way harder than drama, that's why it always blows my mind when I read commentary dismissing roles as being mere comedy relief. Any actor will tell you the same thing, comedy is the tough stuff. Marcia Wallace was pretty good on Bob Newhart.

She is probably Roger Wilkes' sister or wife.

Good news-

This is just an homage to the previous Marge-Clint story. I'll bet she is this version's "Morey".

Annie, while you're in town, would it be too much to ask for you to stop by Lily's and give her a good hobbling?

More proof that Y&R does not wallow in the same shallow, campy waters of OLTL!

Y&R isnt above camp.

It just needs to do camp well.

IA, in the same vein, Y&R takes themselves seriously with camp, and they balance out without making issue of it.

I imagine it will be a full story line, and if the actress doesn't keep it together- keep it Y&R- she'll be cut.

I imagine they'll take it slow and monitor the fan reaction.
