People hate on Colleen but I dont see whats wrong with her. I thought the actress stepped it up today and I felt the most from her out of everyone who got to react to Brad's death

And if it wasnt for Phyllis giving Noah permission to go out, then he wouldnt have been put in a position to nearly die. Phyllis has her hands all over this. Why is it that everyone around her pays for her crap except for her?

Too funny. I thought the same thing when I read the interview. It's good she was trying to be nice, but I like your version better.

Loved today's show again. Add me to the list of folks that thought Tammin did fine today. But NuAbby still isn't doing it for me. Her crying was just so fake.

That last scene just tore my heart out. Poor Noah. I know he's gonna feel guilty about Brad's death. I hope they don't head him off into drugs or something to deal with it.

But the FIRST thing out of her mouth is always, "This is my fault. This is all my fault. (____<--Insert Tragedy) never would've happened if it weren't for me."

And I keep thinking, yes. You're damn right it wouldn't have. Meddling bitch.

Well, in defense of Phyllis, I do think she has a right to meddle when her husband has been kissing his ex-wife and spending every minute of every day with her, despite the fact that Phyllis herself was once "the other woman" as well.

Her mistake was involving Brad.

You lose him, the way you got him. Karma has finally come to kick the b-tch in the rear for her affair while Sharon was married to Nick and Phyllis has no one to blame but herself for this. Her meddling , lies and schemes is what destroyed her marriage and after all these years she still hasnt learned her lesson

Well now that doesn't bode well for Sharon now does it. She's officially put herself on the same page as Phyllis. If they get back together because she slept with Nick while he was married to Phyllis, she'll have to realize that the same way she got him back could be the way she looses him again. This

"karma" thing works both ways.

and don't forget Tracy and Nikki both told BRAD to go to the woman that he loved and try again....

surprised Phyllis has not been blamed for Brad's mom not making it to the funeral!!

if they will cheat on you they will cheat with you....once a cheater always a cheater...should be on Nick and Sharon's SEPERATE tombstone when someone they cheat with knocks them off....

I won't be the one to shoot because I agree. I got a good laugh out of their scenes today and I am now officially on the Kevin/Amber bandwagon. They had some pretty big chemistry sparks there today.

EDIT: I think Y&R was the best thing to ever happen to the Amber character. She was always so whiny and annoying on B&B, but she has really come into her own as a character on Y&R, at least IMO.

Wow, just catching the show on SoapNet. Brad in the ice, what a creepy image. It is also such a classic soap death. This show is really on fire. No lie, I am enjoying it so much more than AMC. It is more than just production values, it comes down to the writing. The stories are balanced. I think I have seen the entire contract cast including key recurring players in the last two weeks. Also, the casting has been wonderful. It helps that they have a good retention of veterans from 1998 and before.

If people are worried about the future of soaps, all they need do is look at the current state of YR. It is such a pleasurable experience to watch. It is a successful business. They are making appropraite cuts that have not compromised the quality or identity of the show. Kudos. Just kudos.

    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
