I think they'd say that about any POTUS in this position. It's simply uniquely annoying with Trump. They did spend most of yesterday excoriating him for irresponsibly getting the deadly disease he'd mocked for so long, unusually harshly for cable news and mainstream print media IMO

"Rested well" is never good language, IMO.

The media is giving this monster fawning coverage talking about "What can with do with no leader in charge" as if we have had one the past 4 years. Hatred is so harsh a word for them but I am getting close. I am talking about the media.

I don't even understand what that means. When has he ever been in charge? When Van Jones got teary over him bombing Syria?

I hope everyone is ready for the gushing when he returns to the White House and waves at the camera.

They make so much money off him, they don't care how many of us die in the process. If Biden wins they need to be shut down.

This.  And suddenly the Trumps are asking "for prayers".  When have they ever been religious?

CNN openly speculating the doctors and WH staff are arguing over what will be honestly said about Trump's condition, hence the delay.

It's messaging.  It's exactly right.  And CNN keeps saying the Doctors should tell the truth - this administration has never told the truth and they sure won't now.

I wondered. Of course this White House is filled with amateurs and hacks who can't do anything right.

I'm wondering, where is Fauci during all of this? He's the only voice in this administration with any credibility. He's the perfect person to address the press and the nation but we can't have him because Donald Trump is a punk.

Conley, visibly nervous, claims the president's symptoms are "resolving and improving" but immediately throws to another doctor in the raft of docs.

Dooley quotes Trump as saying "I feel like I could walk out of here today". Throws to another doc who says he is going to be encouraged to "eat, drink, walk around" and get well. Dooley returns and says Trump has been "fever-free for another 24 hours". This can't be true; he had it yesterday AM.

Reporter: He has not received any supplemental oxygen at all?

Dooley: He's not received any this morning.

They were asked the above twice, and twice they dodged and caveated with "this morning"

They have asked him if he's been oxygen ten times and he repeats "he's not on it now". He's denying he had difficulty breathing - that's not true.

They're not saying whether he'll be there 5 days, or longer.

"He's 74, he's overweight, but other than that he's completely healthy."

aaaaand he rushes away.

Tell me again about his imminent triumphant return?

Every media platform openly saying this was unsatisfactory and full of non-answers and evasion.

I've never heard his Doctor before - he sounded like a politician.  He didn't answer a thing.  Honestly he looked like an amateur college dude.

72 hours???

Yeah. They knew before they told us and he was still out and about after testing positive.
