I'm not all that interested in any of the major names. I can more easily tell you who I don't want to run - Joe Biden (I think he had his chance) and Elizabeth Warren (she would not win and she is better served in an advisory role) and Bernice Sanders (nuff said).

Of course, my heart goes out to the victims in yesterday's shootings, as well as to their loved ones and entire communities.

 

But, hell, I'm past the point of thinking that's enough.  What good does it do those folks to send love, prayers and everything else their way, when what they really need -- hell, what we ALL really need -- is for Congress to do the damn thing and pass tougher gun control legislation?
