CNN fires Jeffery Lord. I'm sure they'll find another delusional idiot to take his place, but this still makes me happy.

Sounds like a current president that I know. ;)

But seriously.  People like Lord (and you-know-who) believe that apologies and such show weakness.  They'd sooner croak.

Once again, the editors at TIME are trolling our current president, knowing full well a cover like that is sure to provoke his wrath and cause him to fire Kelly just to prove how much he DOESN'T need him.

Given some of the conservative leanings at Time (aren't they another publication that may be bought out by Trump supporters?) I'm wary of their reasoning.

Ugh. Catching up on the daily news and had my reoccurring epiphany on how Trump is the worst person to ever become President.  In terms of accomplishments that are positive for the country's progress, he has zilch.

He has none of the positive qualities other bad Presidents have had.  There's nothing redeeming about him- he's just a very insecure, mentally ill, nasty man who has no business being in charge of anything.

Frankly, his base deserves nothing less.

I agree. We've had other President's who were pretty bad when judged by today's standards, but at least they were the product of the time and society in which they lived.  It's not that easy to think outside of those bounds. Someone like Trump doesn't have that excuse. Sure, he was born in the 40's, but he's had the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds out there, he just chooses not to.

We need to stop being surprised by these people. It's a cult. They will support him even if it kills them. In fact a lot of them would consider dying at his hand to be a privilege. Look at those farmers who are getting screwed over by pulling out of the TPP. He told them he was going to do it but they voted for him anyway. And now that he did it and they are hurting they support him anyway. Their support of him isn't based on policies, it's based on white supremacy and misogyny. It doesn't matter if he destroys the world and/or their lives, he's a white man and that's good enough for them.
