Members DRW50
All of this stuff with Shirley Sherrod has just made me sick, sick of so many people. Yet again I end up wondering what is going on in our "liberal" media and in our government.

Yet he still lost the primary...

Members MichaelGL
I tuned into CNN last night to catch the airing of this. Anderson Cooper is accused of being "anti-religion" by the Republican candidate Renee Ellmers. http://cnn.com/video/?/video/bestoftv/2010/09/25/ac.mosque.ad.cnn
Members Max
According to its "sources," CNN has learned that Rahm Emanuel is expected to leave his position as White House Chief of Staff in order to run for mayor of Chicago. While this news comes as no surprise to me, Mr. Emanuel is by no means guaranteed of victory in the Democratic primary. (And whoever wins that primary will obviously win the general election.) In fact, that race is believed to be wide-open. Edited September 28, 2010 by Max

Members quartermainefan
I don't see how the Union can succeed without a uniform monetary policy, and if a country gives up its right to decide its own monetary policy, is it even a country, or just now a vassal of some sort?
Members Sylph
What I find fascinating is that not so long ago both Iceland and Ireland were praised as these magnificent economies where every endeavour flourishes. Fast forward and here we are. Almost always under those shiny surfaces some kind of sea monster appears. Greece was a bit different, everyone knew it borrowed heavily, people spent the borrowed money and no one returned it.
