Hillary: "I want to ask Donald when he thinks America was great. [...] He was criticizing our govt for decades. Back in 1987 he took out a $1000 ad in the NYT during President Reagan's time. This is the way Donald thinks about himself, puts himself into the middle and says I only can fix it."

Wallace has hit Hillary with a number of FOX/Breitbart memes, but overall he has been very fair and held Trump to the fire like no other moderator. He's done the best job of the three debates.

Hillary: "I will raise taxes on the wealthy, assuming Donald doesn't figure out a way to get out of it."
Trump: "Such a nasty woman."

Well, this is gonna be a blowout election. And he had another very bad night.

Time for closing statements. Let's see what Donald comes up with.

Trump hides behind his lectern as Hillary comes down to thank Wallace and then into the audience.

The defining moments: Trump calling her "a nasty woman" and announcing he will "keep [America] in suspense" about not contesting the election. The audience gasped. It's over.

I haven't felt this way so strongly until tonight but man I was so proud of Hillary Clinton. Even with a couple of bumps on her end she kept hammering and outclassed him totally. She looked the most presidential I have seen her yet. Even after the debate and he left and she made her way through the crowd greeting people, she was awesome. I am so proud that a woman this qualified will most likely be our next president.  I wasn't sure I would feel this way again after President Obama was elected, but she was awesome.

Don Jr. was embarrassing himself in front of the press pool, rambling a mile a minute. He and Reince Priebus (the last GOP man standing?) are trying to quantify Trump's ruinous comments, claiming "only if there is real evidence" they'll contest the election.

Oh God, it's Rudy and Kellyanne! They both insist that he will accept the results unless there is evidence.

As much as Trump tried to keep himself in check, there were several times where he reverted back to nature and became unhinged. The Putin puppet talk, the Bad Hombres garble are two examples. He really sounds as if he is stanning Putin, which is disturbing but far from the most disturbing he's said tonight.

    • I still see Alfonso Ribeiro as Carlton when Martin gets angry.
    • Not that I want to defend Y&R's writers, but it's not as absurd as you'd think and I believe they plucked it from reality (and then bungled it). The Estee Lauder Companies purchased Tom Ford's brand several years ago and I am willing to bet that's how Jabot came to buy Marchetti.
    • Loved the episode today. looking forward to the fallout. Nubian-Sheila looked fantastic, but I wish the writers would cut back on her overuse of figurative language. I loved the "fix yo mind ministries" line though. The background music during her fantasy confrontation with Nicole was epic.
    • Nothing makes sense on this show. I wish there was a garbage can emoji. That sums up 90% of the show right now.

Jane Wyman return episode was head-to-head w/ Cheers season 8 finale. Falcon Crest broadcast syndication began Fall 1986, which overlapped w/ Oprah going national. AFAIK cable broadcasts were Lifetime and Soapnet. I have no memory of cable broadcasts on TBS, TNT, TNN, E!, FX.
    • After today’s rushed and abrupt exit for Summer I immediately realized that Josh & Co. were very blindsided by AL’s decision to leave.  Not the first time this has happened to JG either; see MM & HK’s exits in 2021, MM’s exit in 2022, and of course TSJ’s exit last year. Obviously JG and our executive in charge of nothing Steve Kent don’t have a good handle on casting disruptions. And Mariah having an offscreen affair is [!@#$%^&*] ridiculous!! Meanwhile Tessa’s blonde hair is overkill with the number of blondes on the show already. I said the same thing 3 years ago…of course it was utterly ridiculous everyone was mad at Sally for getting Summer he dream job (don’t ask lol) but there was so much the show could have done without bringing on the Marchetti angle.
    • Does the ball on GL where Philip revealed that he had forced Alan out of Spaulding count or was that not Philip's idea?  There was a ball on AMC where Adam revealed that he had bankrupted Palmer, I think (or was it the other way around?), but I can't remember who threw that.
    • Thanks for honoring Ruth Buzzi. She was a treasure. I'm glad DAYS let her have some fun. I remember Imogene Coca complaining about ATWT just giving her a drab guest part.
    • It's such a delicious set of circumstances that I'm actually a little surprised that I can't think of ones that exactly match. I've just got a couple of close but no cigars (the reveal wasn't public, like when Alexis told Dominique at her and Garrett's engagement party that Garrett lied about being married; or the revealer didn't come up with the idea of the party). Maybe I need to think some more about it.
