November 13, 200817 yr Member The problem is (flame-retardant suit on) Winsor Harmon can't act. And, now, he doesn't have that sexy young himbo thing going for him either. The two previous Thornes (esp. Trachta) were actually better. (Although I realize they wanted Thorne to be a more macho combatant for Ridge...but it actually worked better when Thorne--as he was with the two previous actors--was the softer son). Winsor's Thorne really can't carry a story. He can snarl. He can be supercilious. He can throw furniture. He can bury his face in his hands and pretend to be sad. In a romance, he can put on a leering face. There is a REASON this actor is NEVER front burner, and it has to do with more than Brad's ADD and the historical neglect of the Thorne character. ON THE OTHER HAND, Felicia on the front burner--as a combatant for ANYONE--that would be heaven to see. I freakin' LOVE Winsor! And IMO, he is a much better actor than Lesli Kay. Also, if Brad was concerned about poor acting ability, why have Ronn Moss and John McCook been "leading men" for 21 years?
November 13, 200817 yr Member Not watching B&B again, its crap, crap, crap, but just saw the CSI with Lady Heather/Melinda Clarke and can't help but think she would make such a great Taylor. Edited November 14, 200817 yr by BadZoe
November 13, 200817 yr Member Not watching B&B again, but just saw the CSI with Lady Heather/Melinda Clarke and can't help but think she would make such a great Taylor. I think she can play a good character. But I wouldn't have believed her if she was Taylor back in her "angel" days in the 90s. Maybe Taylor now, but not then. She reminds me more of a Morgan character (may just be the looks). I liked her character on the OC. She had that bad streak but also had a lot of problems that balanced her out. I don't like whoever has been doing KKL's hair lately. She looks so much older. "We've been doing this dance for so many years, and still not together" Nail on the head Ridge, nail on the head! And did he drive off on a motorcycle? LOL sounded like it. Of course we'd see a flashback of that crazy beach wedding.

November 14, 200817 yr Member Actually...that was Brooke's house. Can't tell you how relieved I was to see they'd finally found the "living room" set. I was beginning to worry that all the Ridge scenes were going to be shot in Brooke's Bedroom. Very disconcerting to see Ridge entertaining his mother (twice)...his estranged brother/rival and his ex-wife in the bedroom! how did they even get there. That was an odd choice. Did Ridge call Taylor over or did she just drop by? What was Ridge wearing? That shirt made him look older and was unflattering. IA that Rick needs to just go away. Im sick of his whining

November 14, 200817 yr Member Taylor's probably moved in to remind Ridge that she neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds him back. Im being serious. Was there an explanation for why she was there?
November 14, 200817 yr Member Im being serious. Was there an explanation for why she was there? I asked my mom, and it turns out Taylor just popped over to see if Ridge was moving back in now that Rick can walk again.
November 14, 200817 yr Member Ugh, today either felt like B&B in the 80s/early 90s or not a Bell soap. Yuck, I could just see Nick's ears perk up when Katie mentioned the Brooke/Ridge problem. And lol at Stephanie being mad. What Rick did isn't all that foreign to her, both the faking and editing.
November 15, 200817 yr Member Like Stephanie GAS about Brooke getting dumped by Ridge, for any reason. Seriously, if this were any other soap, Steph and Rick would be rippin' each other's clothes off and goin' at it at as they plotted to destroy Bridge forever. Yes...sucker that I am, I almost had moisture in the corner of my eye reliving the first (?) of Bridge's legal unions.
November 15, 200817 yr Member Today was just awful...... Yes, you are right...but it was SPECTACULARLY awful. Soooooooooo awful it was entertaining. B&B has been awful AND boring for so long, to have a campy cheesy episode of the type that would be lampooned on "The Soup" was a welcome relief. Let's just say that every second on the Malibu beach...from Malibu Barbie on her horse...to an "emotive" Ridge shouting "Logaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" from the mountain top...interspersed with flashbacks that only highlight the aging....this was a campy delight. I mean, it was just utterly cheese-tastic and crap-tacular. And the new bitch Rick is also many times more entertaining than his previous noble incarnation. He was so delightfully bitchy I instantly wanted him--implausibly--to turn gay gay gay. Then he would be my new favorite character. Like Stephanie GAS about Brooke getting dumped by Ridge, for any reason. Well, after having Brooke raped, wasn't Stephanie trying to be kinder and gentler where Brooke was concerned? Also, after she almost killed Ridge (remember his heart attack--"you broke my heart!"--after one of his breakups with Brooke), in general I thought Steph was going to stop interfering. Man oh man, I'd love to see Stephanie (Sr.) and Rick rutting like rabbits! Daily! It would totally reposition this show as the camp cheesefest it could once aspire to be!
