Kristen(Starr), Farah(Gigi), Austin Williams(Shane), Melissa Archer(Natalie) & Bree Williamson(Jessica/Tess) are all good, especially Archer, who's awesome imho. I do think Bree is overacting some and am sick to death of Tess, and if it doesn't end soon I'll be wanting Erin Torpey back as Jessica. David(Cris) is ok and should stay on the show as well.

That made me LOL for reals.

No, no shades, but that would have been truly fabulous. I called her hotline later, and she said that she'd actually done a couple of interviews that morning, she was first in line. Wish I'd been up earlier, I may have caught a few more clips of her on earlier newscasts.

She wasn't wearing any makeup, and her lovely skin looked like Oil of Olay fresh out of the jar.

LOL! I happened to like all the explosion references.

Todd: When I saw you in that dress "you blew me away."

Nikki: You can't run from things or "they tend to blow up in your face"

Fade to Jared/Natalie love scene with ticking bomb super-imposed over their images.

I also liked the scenes of Clint standing in front of, or pounding on the basement door talking about how they have to find their girls and how guilty he feels about how he treated Natalie. Do you suppose those were intentionally funny or is it my warped sense of humor?

Wow, I thought today's show was very good, even the Todd/Marty stuff. Can't stand that storyline but it didn't make me want to hurl either.

Thoroughly enjoyed the scenes between Niki and Tess, even though I don't like that Tess will get off scott free for all she's done, I knew they would make it happen that way. I'm bummed that they cut the stuff with Viki going after Clint for not being their for their children when she was gone, because I really don't buy his "I should have been there" speech today, for months he cared about nothing but BE and getting back at Dorian, his "girls" were a second thought to him. Tess holds Viki accountable for what Niki did, I just want to see someone hold Clint accountable for him turning his back on his girls for a change.

I had gotten so tired of seeing Gigi, Rex and Shane but today's scenes were very good. They were low keyed and I think that is what made them good for me today.

I love Tina and I really, really hate to see her go.

Im really surprised that they had Addie call Viki bc one of my biggest complaints is that they kept her out of Starr's pregnancy story. I thought it was a missed oppurtunity considering Viki is her aunt and went through this with Jessica. I know she was away for 2 months, but it was made public before she left town and they didnt do anything with Viki here then. It would have been more powerful had Blair gone to her for advice.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

Newsom is a craven opportunist, but his comments today were exactly how better people need to handle Trump.
