August 17, 201411 yr Member Eric was the one married to Linda, right? She had an affair with Michael while wed to his brother? Or was it the other way around?

August 17, 201411 yr Member My favorite of Karen's kids was Michael -- but only by default. The truth is, I wonder whether Karen would have been better off without children since she seemed to act like a mother figure to some most of the time.
August 17, 201411 yr Member I always had a soft spot for Eric. He had the biggest heart - he reminded me of the best of Karen and Sid, without her self-righteousness and his bluster. And he bitch-slapped Diana in one of my all time favorite KL scenes.
August 17, 201411 yr Member I love--love--Diana. A great and honest portrayal of a teenager on TV. Edited August 17, 201411 yr by YRBB
August 17, 201411 yr Member Which season did he slap her? What did she do to provoke him? (Sorry, I'm not very familiar with KL past the first couple of seasons.) Sid's oldest child, from his first marriage, meanwhile (the one played by Karen Allen in the pilot) is on the Island of Misfit TV Characters along with Chuck Cunningham, Judy Winslow, Carl Dixon, etc....
August 17, 201411 yr Member Yep, Annie is the Bobby Martin, Janet Matthews, Patricia Spencer[Luke and Bobbi's sister Never Seen] and Danny Andrade of Nighttime soaps.....................
August 17, 201411 yr Member Not Danny Andrade...it was Olivia Andrade ( never seen in Santa Barbara....it was only named in episode 8)

August 17, 201411 yr Member He slaps her in season 5. I love how Olivia was going to take over the Diane roll in the show. Her drug scenes with Abby were great as well. I had forgotten that Eric had slapped her. Even I wanted to slap her...lol Edited August 17, 201411 yr by Soapsuds

Even I wanted to slap her...lol Yeah she definitely deserved it. I don't think that Claudia Lonow (Diana) was a bad actress. She has since joked about the fact that she was constantly high on coke at this time, so that might be the reason why she was a little "intense."
August 17, 201411 yr Member Thanks for sharing that clip! Whoa - you'd never see a man slapping a woman on TV now, even if the man and woman in question are siblings.
August 18, 201411 yr Member Claudia Lonow was originally jealous of Lisa Whelchel of The Facts of Life, and later Survivor, because Lisa was so pretty. Claudia: "Later on, when I was on Knots Landing and she was on The Facts of Life and gained all that weight, I'd watch her show and scoff as I poured myself a shot of vodka, did a line of blow, and cleaned the blood off my nose. If only she had my self-control!" lol, I love that quote. She's a hoot and a half.
