I wonder about his detective novel. Was it ever published?

Ted Tinling was a wonderful actor, and Vic Lamonte was a great character. He should never have been killed off the show, but that is something for which Henry Slesar was noted. He liked to break up some of the characters who were seemingly meant for each other. He broke up Laurie/Vic and Steve/Deborah on The Edge of Night and also Tony/Jill on Somerset.

I can't find anything online, unless it was published under another name.

What do you think they could have done with Vic if he'd stayed?

What did you think about Johnny and Laurie?

Actor Michael Maitland played Tommy Hatcher. His storyline was with Geri Pollock (Millee Taggart). I am not quite certain what the connection with Geri was. She lived in the house with the dumb waiter with him. Two actors played his father, Byron Stewart and John Cullum. Elizabeth Lawrence played the housekeeper. The storyline had something to do with spies, but I honestly do not remember the specifics.

Mr. Maitland was also on Broadway in Mame (this was probably the role created by Frankie Thomas of As the World Turns) and The Rothchilds (which, I believe, had Hal Linden of Search for Tomorrow and Caroline McWilliams of The Guiding Light and Another World).

He was also on Dark Shadows and Search for Tomorrow.

He later had a successful career in the restaurant and catering business before being struck with cancer.

He passed away on April 23, 2014.

Correction from the above post: Michael Maitland did NOT play the same role in Mame that Frankie Thomas played. They were two different roles, with the one played by Frankie Thomas being the larger, Emmy-winning role.

Also in Mame with him was Diana Walker (As the World Turns, Dark Shadows, Where the Heart Is).

Sharon Gabet has posted many of her own BTS photos of her time on EON on her FB page. They are all delightful, especially one where she and several of the show's males are all lounging around on one bed during a break. (Larkin Malloy is seated at her left holding up an issue of Playgirl that belonged to Sharon. LOL!!)

The stories she's sharing are awesome too. She posted a great pic from 1979 when Logan, Raven, Nicole, and Miles headed to some country retreat. Joe Lambie (Logan) rearranged the letters on the hotel sign so that the hotel's name was quite bawdy.

    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.
