STUPID, too. I mean, how did Babe not think of the implication behind the name "working girl". Hello?! Didn't Babe pretend to be a hooker briefly? I guarantee you somewhere in that dialogue back then, she refers to being a "working girl".

Like it was some big shock when Randi pointed it out to Amanda and Babe. Yeah, right.

Furthur proof Babe shouldn't even be working at Fusion, sometimes I wonder if she and Amanda share a brain, cause they didn't they come up with this together?

Women buy perfume because it's kind of an escape, and something for themselves they can splurge on. What working class woman wants to buy something that reminds them of what they are: working class women

My new nickname for Kendall is KenBitch bc thats exactly what she is. She was horrible today. The way she talked to her employees was despicable. I loved Greenlee telling her she needs to move on with her life bc Ryan has with his. First thing she does when she wakes up next to Zach is bitch about Annie. STFU! Seriously girl is OBSESSED with Annie and Ryan and her day is not complete unless its consumed by them. Waking up going on about them was pretty pathetic. She was horrible with Zach and I wish he'd just dump her already bc Im sure he's fed up with her crap

Babe owns David's cabin? um why? Its not like they were close. I dont see her accepting something like that after he left given the stuff he had done and the state of their non-existant relationship

Im surprsingly enjoying the war story more than I thought I would. I didnt give it much credit before but I liked the Jake and Taylor talk today

Jake and Taylor are fun so far, but I do agree Amanda and Jake possess more sexual chemistry. Jake and Taylor I'd love to just be close friends. I'd like to see how Taylor and Evil Dr. Dave would match up.....

Angie and Jesse are love. Seriously I love how they are going to delve into the 20 years Jesse was away. So much storyline potential here to affect all the Hubbards.

If there is a mistress.... wouldn't it be insane of Victoria Rowell was cast? I mean a long shot but Debbi Morgan and Victoria Rowell going at it, I don't know if I could say for sure who would win.

Did you seriously just say that? So now you're condoning the rape and violence towards women?

Also - you haven't really touched on Kendall's obsession over Annie/Ryan/Greenlee lately - or her non-obsession over her husband and kids. I'd love to hear your thoughts (...and how you'd spin them!).

;)

Can't wait to watch Pratt's first day - I'm off to watch!

    • Did I ever say that? I actually don't want to, but I have no problem doing so when I feel it's truly warranted. Case in point. I'll be more respectful about how you're involving yourself in these kind of discussions when you consider doing the same. Believe me when I tell you the way you attempt to dress up this attitude has placated no one, and this is not a minority forum opinion. It is easy enough, for example, to simply say that "I think many of us have underrated JFP's skills as a woman producer in an overly misogynistic industry". It's a lot easier than spending paragraph after paragraph amusedly shaking one's head while talking down to the clueless proles of SON about their blinkered, reductive opinions. And yes, I am saying that many of us have spoken up crediting Phelps for the skills she obviously has as a technical whiz and line producer. There's nothing out of turn about acknowledging that many posters know where she excelled. Or talking about where she clearly (for many of us) didn't. You don't have to agree, but you could try listening to someone other than yourself.
    • It’s a recurring tension in Daytime: the willingness to take risks can fuel a show's longevity, but the actresses themselves often bear the long-term consequences of audience backlash.
    • I pray Eva never lets Dana back into her life, because she deserves better. Dana isn't a mother, nor is she a parent.
    • Daphnee's performance very much reminded me of Anna Holbrook's on Another World when Sharlene was dealing with John and Felicia's affair. Angry but well controlled and believable. A good start for an Emmy reel. If there is one thing an evil Black mother is going to do, it is lock you out the house. Eva shouldn't have even bothered to go home.  Leslie calling Martin "Mr. President" was interesting. How much exactly does she know about the family and has someone higher up sent her to cause trouble? Anita's speech to Leslie was dignified like Geraldine Whitney (EON) or Kim Hughes (ATWT) would have gone off on somebody.
    • Thanks for posting this, fascinating read. It's clear how ambivalent Wyndham is about Justine. IMO, it reads like she agrees that the end of the storyline was bad, but reading between the lines I think she thought she was doing good work for the meat of it....which was not the case. As bad as the writing for most of that story was, it was truly made worse by her embarrassing performance. After the story concluded she kept falling back into Justine ticks, when she wasn't phoning he scenes in. Not to play Freud, but was it to tr*ll her critics?
    • I better hear "The Emmy goes to Ambyr Michelle" come Emmy time lol
