According to the latest Suds Report, Eileen Davidson has been bumped to recurring status.

Great one, Bell. <_<

There was a blurb in SID a few weeks back that said Maria Arena Bell wanted Ashley back on Y&R full-time. So, I think that's what's going to happen soon, plus I think Ashley will be making some appearances on Y&R later this month.

And come on, who expected Brad to write for her?

I guess Alden hates the Ashley character (she more than proved that on Y&R, IMO).

I pray she returns to Y&R full time now - that's where she really belongs.

I think Ashley was great when she first moved to B&B. It brought the character new life, but if MAB is willing to write for her on Y&R then I agree that is where the character should be. I would love to see her and Victor reunite.

Wow, Bradley Bell is just a mess. He claimed to have such love for her, and look what happens. Brad needs to get it together.

Victor's wife just died, Ashley, go get him!!!!!

If Eileen comes back and only serves to stay in Victor's orbit then I say let her stay gone. Why not bring back other interesting characters like Diane (played by AD!), Olivia, Nina, Dina, Mamie. Hell, even a rehabilitation storyline for Sabryn Genet's Tricia could be dynamic.

How can Brad Bell love Ashley when he is head over in heels in love with Katie. I'm glad that he saved Eileen from the unemployment line until she can return to Y&R.

I sure hope Eileen returns to Y&R, Ashley Abbott is missed terribly and with the return of Billy it only makes sense for the Abbott Beauty to return, lord knows I'd even have Tracey Abbott back, Beth Maitland may look bad, but she can act which I can't say for some of the younger cast!

This ain't Alden's call, remember she's a worker bee, she's Brad's Co-HW, it's his call and it seems he never had any intent of writing for Eileen, he doesn't know a good thing when it bites him in the ass.

I should've known better, but I actually thought he would, based on his track record with Y&R characters. Lauren and Sheila were both frontburner characters when they were on B&B in the 90s. But then again, maybe that was before Bell was diagnosed with ADD. <_<

No. WORDS.

Loved ED on B&B. Love her on Y&R, too, but I thought she brought a breath of fresh air to the LA soap.

Good for Y&R -- if she does return. Bad for B&B which seems to be rudderless and worsening by the minute.

I only wish ALL of the Y&R rejects would leave B&B! They have certainly done NOTHING for this show! :P

If you mean Kay Alden...

I thought Heather Tom as Katie was refreshingly self-deprecating when she first began and was hanging with Thorne. The problem is balance, of course, and All Katie All the Time is definitely not working. Ashley hardly appeared on the show but when she did, she had chemistry with absolutely everybody.

See, I love Heather Tom, but all this crap is going make people turn on her. By the time the Emmy's roll around most people will be fed up with her, probably myself included.

I wish ED would just go to another soap or find a prime time series. I'm over the Bells and their indecision.
