Yaya can go. I thought she was bad in her scenes with Angie today. Please recast. Davetta Sherwood is wating for a call

Loved the Krystal/Colby scenes. Best part of the show

Im sick of seeing Adam and JR go at its. Its beyond old

She seemed fine for her mothers sake. I never bought that she was completely sold on Jessie

:D I do have to agree somewhat.

For me, the Hubbards make this show right now, and it's been that way pretty much since they joined. I was worried with Yaya at first (hearing she was a contestant on ANTM gave me chills), but I really think she is working it. If she's leaving, I hate to see it. There's chemistry there.

And you know what else? It's real! What other family is intact on this soap? What other family sits down to eat together or even makes dinner, as Angie was doing at the end of this ep. (And frequently at other times.) They speak to each other like how family members speak to each other. And I totally bought that Yaya would pull the "I'm going back to Paris" card, because she's eighteen and that's what teenagers do! It was a perfect in-character response to a situation that was not working in her favor. And I love seeing Darnell and Cornelius go toe-to-toe, because truth is, Cornelius is an equal match and that's saying something. That boy might be going somewhere someday, but I hope it's not off this show soon.

Here's to Pratt making the Hubbards front-and-center. They are the only AMC-thing about AMC these days.

I loved today's show! I loved the intercutting between all the parents and kids, and Colby brooding out there by the water, I am interested by the direction they're taking her. And the Hubbards ARE love. So much word to them being real, they are not a hallmark card, they quibble and fight like real people would, but you just know they love each other so much and the sense of family is so palpable. I'm sure tomorrow we'll return to the Hexagon from Hell but ... aww I just had to log on and give my thumbs up to today.

I thought she was obviously saying whatever she could to cover up for Angie's sake. Cassandra doesn't really want to go back to Paris, she just had to come up with an excuse for her behavior.

LMAO! Sorry, detroipiston, but Darnell Williams is a fantastic actor.

ITA. The Hubbards are the only real family on AMC these days and they belong front-and-center. Yaya is the weakest actor of the bunch but I hope the rumors of her leaving are false because she has been improving and she fits in so well with the family.

I thought yesterday's episode was excellent all around. The Colby/Krystal scenes were particularly good; for the first time I found myself liking NuColby. Stuart/Adam was reminiscent of classic AMC, too, and I loved how Adam saw through JR's plot. He seems like his old self again.

I like Frankie's actor but he's still sometimes a bit green--he sorta resorts to the same tones and expressions--Darnell doesn't need to be worried.

Really enjoyed the ep--nothign amazing but nice to have a different group today for once.

"I'm sorry but I don't buy this Cass wants to go back to Paris crap. She seemed fine with Jessie for months. "

Ummm she said that to avoid the topic with her mom and because she found out Jessie didn't trust her
