July 24, 200817 yr Member Eeeeeee, Karen Harris! LOL, don't know why I said that. I just like her work. Lechowick is LML's hubby, right? As I recall, on Y&R, he seemed to temper the worst of her excesses. At times. Out of Our Asses notwithstanding.
July 24, 200817 yr Member Uhm yeah, he and his wife are so good about ethics. Let's fire everyone with expertise, who brought the show success and acclaim and hire our best friends and family members - what a pristine example. Someone like that ought to be on the board.
July 24, 200817 yr Member Oh. Isn't LML dragging him by a leash through the Amazon jungles? Edited July 24, 200817 yr by R Sinclair
July 24, 200817 yr Author Member You know... I've been thinking (yeah, it's that preposterously presumptuous kind of sentence)... This might be a good thing: since he's was so involved with the strike and defended the interests of the writers, that might mean he will: PUNISH THE SCABS!

If he goes after Dena Hackley's ass for scabbing through her husband I'm all for it.
July 24, 200817 yr Author Member If he goes after Dena Hackley's ass for scabbing through her husband I'm all for it. I seriously hope someone will go after these people. Justice might be slow, but it is achievable.
July 24, 200817 yr Member I seriously hope someone will go after these people. Justice might be slow, but it is achievable. Word! Though a balless hack like Bernard Lechowick should not be a candidate for anything with the WGA IMO.
July 25, 200817 yr Member Oh. Isn't LML dragging him by a leash through the Amazon jungles? LMAO! I don't get it, but LMAO! You know... I've been thinking (yeah, it's that preposterously presumptuous kind of sentence)... This might be a good thing: since he's was so involved with the strike and defended the interests of the writers, that might mean he will: PUNISH THE SCABS! Why do the scabs need to be punished? SOMEONE needed to keep the shows going during the strike.
July 25, 200817 yr Member Why do the scabs need to be punished? SOMEONE needed to keep the shows going during the strike. there is fi-core for that.
July 25, 200817 yr Member What's the difference? then a writer goes ficore they tell the WGA and decalre ficore. they still pay dues but are not a full member. they do this either because they NEED to because of the money, want to keep the show going, or whatever. a scap is someone who pretends to not be writing but is behind everyones back for personal gain.
July 25, 200817 yr Member Ah, I see. I take back my earlier statement about scabs not needing to be punished.
July 25, 200817 yr Member The Lechowick/Latham clan has long been heavily involved in WGA activities, for twenty years. There's nothing really surprising about this. And it's not like the board sits around writing scripts. It's not about talent. Well, not writing talent at least.
