It was horribly written from the start, the actors are atrocious, and the only reason their fanbase is so rabid is because people like the idea of a gay couple, regardless of the quality of the storyline and the overall show. Therefore I used to not like Brooke and Ridge, but actually like them now, as the old version of the recent years. I have liked every single one of Brooke's romances except Deacon and Nick. I have always liked both Brooke and Taylor. I loved Bridget and Deacon. I used to hate Amber, but I'm starting to miss her compared to what is on now. I wish she would come back to shake things up. I would probably start hating again as soon as she comes back, but you know, distance makes the heart grow fonder. I don't really mind the Logan invasion. At least these are characters with a history. I think Taylor is a much more fun character since she has come back from the dead than she was ever since her last pre-death marriage to Ridge. Eric Braeden is an ass but an ass that can act. Eric Steinberg & John Enos need to be on Daytime again. Tuc Watkins has gotten lazy. Zander & Elizabeth was a missed opportunity. Nancy Grahn & Hilary Smith are great actresses that struggle with romance. Genie Francis is wonderful but Laura's been boring since she was made into Mother Earth. The destruction of Kevin/Lucy & Jamal/Alison killed PC. Kim Mccullough is cute but boring. Chris Engen is Y&R's best younger male since David Tom. David Lago & Mick Cain are underrated. Paul & Ashley was a missed opportunity. The destruction of Adam post-Craig Lawlor is a shame. Naperia Groves made a fine Bonnie. Jason Thompson is being wasted. Marie Wilson is BORING. David Fumero & Kamar Reyes make great brothers. Thorsten Kaye has WAY too much sexual chemistry with his male co-stars. Ditto Trevor St. John. Ever since Asa's funeral Robert Woods has been doing his best work in YEARS. Kat Hayes aged best of her ATWT peers. Kathleen Widdoes is HIGHLY underrated. Justin Torkildsen made a fine Rick.
