For now (not that we had a lot to judge on) Hogan and Maria are okay... but it'll take time to see what they can do together.... Maria just DESPERATELY needed someone that knows how to do conflict. She just doesn't like it, and we don't like it that she doesn't like it.

Wow - Chloe is shaping up to be one excellent bitch! A stupid one though. How in the world does she think she's going to get past a paternity test though? And i can't stand it when they do those "switch the paternity test" stories.

And this made me LAUGH MY BUTT OFF!

Nikki: Maybe instead of blindly defending your wife you should look into those accusations?

Victor: Why don't you take a close look at that loser of a husband that you're married to before you criticize anyone else?

SNAP! You got that, Nikki!?

I'm glad you said "today". You know better than most of us that today is not necessarily predictive of tomorrow. But hope springs eternal! (at least in me). Six months of consistency would need to occur for me, I think, to relax a little.

Remember, Cane wants a baby. He was against abortion, and really wanted to raise Lily's baby. He explained it was because of his own parentless childhood. Plus, visibly, he is of an age where a man's mind may tend to family.

So, putting that together, remember what Chloe said last week: "I'll give Cane the baby Lily can't". I think she understands his paternal needs. Since Lily and Cane AREN'T a great fit...the lure of the baby may forge a bond between Chloe and Cane...such that he cares LESS if the baby turns out not to be his. Like with Phyllis and Danny. He TRIED to love Phyl for years...because of the child. That is where I see this going.

Also, this is a SOAP and Chloe is a WHACK-JOB (think Phyllis, Days' Sami, etc. etc.). Paternity switches are a piece of cake on soaps.

    • Yeah I don't get the slagging of Isabella. She was smart and kind and all around lovely. And she loved John a lot. I hope wherever he is he's with her.
    • Agree. Season 9 goes off the rails. Season 10 to the end is off the rails plus budget mode. The final five seasons for me were a chore to get through.
    • I should say a number of people do enjoy the season 9 and 13 finales. I get the appeal of the 9 finale. I just do not like the storyline.
    • Neil Wade was Doug's son and ran the Wade bookstore, which lived on until 1980 when the Dobsons had it destroyed in a fire. Irna was still headwriter. She stayed until early 1970. He had been losing his eyesight for months in the story. He was killed off in mid 67. That lead to Penny quickly marrying Roy McGuire to gain custody of Jimmy, Roy and Sandy's son. That caused conflict in the Hughes family as Sandy was married to Bob. Doug was also killed off in 67. Irna loved to pile on the tragedies. Penny left in 68.
    • Y'all are so smart, I love this team work!

I really should because that would be fun, I just need to figure out how to do that on here haha. I see people doing it in the BtG threads all the time and always wondered how they do that without saving photos to their computer and then uploading them - that just seems like it would take a lot of time.
    • Most definitely; twenty-two, to me, is the perfect number. Oh God.

Shanice is a physical therapist? YES! This gets her more involved with other characters and since Bill will be her patient, she'll be down to Fairmont at his house and in the middle of the mess!   @Antoyne We'll be seeing more of her!
    • AGREE.  IzzyB stupid? Any examples spring to mind? It's been many long years back but I recall her being pretty astute about the men in her life, for example. She didn't take a lot of crap off of powerful men. Also it seemed to me she didn't suffer fools, at all. Now, Brady, sometimes he seems to be like the Scarecrow, no brain installed, other times he possesses smarts. But, honestly, he doesn't resemble anyone he's related to, IMO.
    • IMBD claims Nina Kramer and Rory Kramer are the same person - they/them identify as non-binary.
