Members jam6242
I don't want to spoil too much but the Liz/Townsend story hasn't happened yet. It should be coming up soon though.

Members DRW50
I don't think I ever put that much material from this era of the show, but I did have one or two things I posted a while back. http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-20#entry957189 http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-20#entry957218

Members DRW50
April 1971 Afternoon TV. That photo of Lydia Bruce and James Pritchett with matching pipes is one of my favorite soap magazine photos of all time. http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-28#entry1007531 http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-28#entry1007536

She seems to confirm that the scene with Steve was the first where viewers learned her name (she didn't want them to use her first name, but couldn't come up with anything else and gave in because she didn't think she'd be around long anyway). http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-30#entry1041800 January 1965 TV Picture Life with Ann Williams http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-30#entry1043939 http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-30#entry1044000

Members Soaplovers
I can't watch the reruns, but does EH play Althea differently then she did as Lucinda? Meaning.. is Althea as OOTT as Lucinda was.. etc.
Members DRW50
After Dark January 1971. http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/27061-the-doctors/page-36#entry1186928 Liz is more restrained as Althea, more sardonic, less histrionic.
Members DRW50
Just putting this on the current page for people who may not have seen it. I really like Terry Kiser's work. I wish John had been around longer. The character also seems very ahead of his time; primetime got people like this with St. Elsewhere, not so much before. (Pamela looks much younger on the show...) Members Faulkner
GG played Nick with such an aura of violence. In the scene in which Althea says she'd never marry Nick, he came as so imposing and aggressive that I was afraid he'd strike her. But Liz Hubbard gave as good as she got in that scene. Such a fascinating and electric dynamic between the two of them.
