It looks like they're introducing a new group of characters. Maybe to fill the void of the Wylde's?

Probably not a family unit though, just random new characters.

I just pray these new people somehow help Victoria finally get a freaking story. Isobel Hodgins is too good to be kept dangling on the backburner.

i highly agree. Id like a new family and a return from Robert but Gavin Blyth believes that new blood not old is the key to making Emmerdale a success , despite not all his characters are that great.

It's funny though because he has done barely anything with a number of the new characters he created (Ryan, the Sharmas).

Give a storyline for The Sharmas.

An Idea

Bring back Priya and Introduce The Parents and do an arranged marriage storyline with Priya. Give more focus on its asian residents.

My idea:

Nikhil Sharma nude model.

Victoria tries to seduce Nikhil for his money. It's obvious she never wants to actually do any work in her life. LoL

Marc's a good actor who has had very poor writing from the start. What confuses me is why the hell they are going on about Jackson and Aaron being a successful team when for months they have had NO scenes involving any sort of relationship. They do not touch, they barely even talk.

Maybe this is the alleged news:

http://www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/choicechat/emmerdales-train-crash

Declan Macey is becoming properly settled in at Home Farm with the arrival of his ex-wife Ella, played by former Doctors star Corrine Wicks, daughter Mia (Brittania High’s Sapphire Elia) and dad in the shape of Father Ted’s Father Jack, Frank Kelly, as Dermot. He couldn’t be more different than the hard-drinking, hard-swearing cleric and sounds like he has a fractious relationship with his son, and thinks nothing of spending his money like water. And might he have his eye on Pearl…?

Mother and daughter are two peas in a pod according to Sapphire, and as they are sort of estranged from Declan there’s plenty of room for drama here. See them from November through to December, when it’s likely Christmas at Home Farm will be reminiscent of spending the festive season with the Tates.

I hope this means that Pearl and Alan will have a nice love triangle on their hands.

If that is true, I think it's a smart decision. The people living in Home Farm need to be from Old Money.

I'm glad Declan will be getting a family. I hope they do a better job bringing them in than most of the other new characters, and I hope that this girl is better than the Barton twits.

Not much to add, except I've really gotten back into Emmerdale (more than Eastenders)--Aaron just locked himself in a garage and turned his car motor on :o lol

The father reminds me of Doug.

The ex wife has such big breasts she looks like she could topple over.

Don't you love how Declan ALWAYS has that look on his face.

I'm so glad that haircut on the daughter is fashionable again, it reminds me of a lot of great late 80s early 90s haircuts for young women. Remember April's sister on Dallas? Everything about his daughter seems like a throwback to much better soap days...
