Well, well, well. Ann Mitchell is returning as Cora for an indeterminate period of time. I hope this shuts down those bozos at those other message boards who insisted Cora was never returning. Never say never about returning characters with shows like EE. If you do you really don't have a clue how these shows work.

I think it's a shame Preston is being written as a little twerp but on the other hand I think it's realistic, as a teenage boy he probably would throw his toys out of the pram when he didn't get his own way and not be able to have an adult relationship. It's like he doesn't understand Michelle's woes but Michelle doesn't help matters giving into temptation the way she does. Still fascinating though. Michelle is my favourite character now.

Preston's American accent is getting worse somehow?

Why is Michelle always wearing that overcoat? It's almost like they want to make the actress come across as unattractive. Not that she is...she just seems like the "before" in a makeover show. And she is so cold that I can't imagine her having sex or any teenage boy wanting to have sex with her. Much less actively pursuing her.

I like the actress playing Bex a lot. Why did they speed this story up so much? It would at least be more interesting if Michelle and Preston were having an active affair while he was dating Bex but as it is they only made it official that day.

I think the reveal of Michelle and Preston would have been better without adding Bex. It detracts from the story somehow. I also feel like the writing is devoid of a lot of emotion. I like the idea of the storyline and am still enjoying it but I think the writing could be a lot better for it.

ETA: For goodness sake and they threw that car crash in right at the end! Totally unneeded!

This story has ruined Michelle. In a moment of cougar madness she might have killed 3 people.

It was all flat. You could see the strings - it was supposed to be very clever that they were with the same man, they'd find out in the Vic, of course Martin would beat him up, and then the hilarious crash that seemed like something from many years ago, like one of those old syndicated shows from the late '80s. Michelle's pleading and whining was embarrassing - I felt so embarrassed when she was cowering. That was NOT Michelle. James Bye as Martin salvaged the only parts that were worth salvaging, when he told Michelle how ashamed he was of her. Jenna Russell was good in that scene and in the pilled out moments near the end but it was all just trash. Sadly the ratings will likely be good so they will keep going to this well of trash.

Denise/Kush and Sylvie/Tina were a lot better.

Ooo Lord. Thank God I am taking a break from this show. From reading these comments, this drivel sounds horrid.

So Michelle possibly killed 3 people over teenaged d-ck?

If this is all they had planned for Michelle, the should've left the character off the canvas forever.

Poor Michelle. The character can't get a good comeback story. Vicki, her daughter, had crappy stories in the 00s. Mark, her son, was the scion of EE's biggest secret and it fell flat. The Fowlers should've never been brought back.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
