What a fantastic episode! Making Talia/Carlo daughter/father genius! I loved all the history references since I don't know Carlo's history. I can't wait to see more of him. I don't remember him being this fun to watch under Higley's "Prison Break" storyline.

And I can't believe Cole told Todd that Starr's pregnant....and it was in the middle of the episode! What an interesting twist.

I'll be able to live post today!! Yay!! LOL :)

Thank you so much for this quick history lesson!! :)

As for the Tina/Rebecca debate, I thought Andrea was playing (the mannerisms/voice) Tina similiar to Rebecca, but then I saw an old clip of Tina from the 80's and now it's the othe way around! Either way, I still love her. :)

Oh, Cain's pretty funny too!

I loved today's show.

Am not a fan of Tess but she did make me giggle when she looked around Viki's room and said, "Flower wallpaper. Kill me now." I have felt the same way for YEARS. That is one set that so needs to be redecorated.

Always enjoy the scenes between Rex and Bo, their relationship is a great one to watch develop.

I SO cannot wait to see Viki/David and Charlie/Dorian tomorrow.

tell me about it. I thought it was bad enough what she did yesterday and it looked like even she wasnt happy with her outcome. Now we find out she wasnt happy bc she wants Lindsay to suffer even more. Nora is so despicable. I absolutely HATE this character and want her killed off. She is such a hypocrite and liar and this vendetta against Lindsay is personal no matter how much she hides behind the law to justify her actions. Is she forgetting that when her own daughter Rachel killed someone, she did everythign in her power to protect her, even going so far as to take her on the run to escape prosecution?

Lindsay was so right calling Nora out on her vindictive obsession with her. Nora's moved on? Ha! Who is she fooling? So many things she has done over the past year has proven that she has not moved on from what went down between she, Bo and Lindsay nearly a decade ago.

David thanks for the Carlo recap--I'd forgotten a lot about his character even though I think he was created by Malone and Griffith just around when I started watching (Vicki *was* the mayor btw--you're right). A great character that somehow has survived some AWFUL stories (hypnotizing Vicki to kill her song was one of the most loathed Vicki stories, the Men of 21 mess was seen as the end of Malone' golden era, etc)

Nora seriously needs to let it go. She's getting off on this [!@#$%^&*]. This isn't about justice, this is about her getting one over on Lindsay. The show seems to forget this one little fact....SPENCER WAS GOING TO RAPE BLAIR!!! Yes Lindsay was going to kill him anyway, but she prevented him from raping Blair. Nora, though I love the woman, is a bitter bitch who needs to grow the feck up.

on a side note, I loved Tess calling Bree, Grape. I loved that Ron remembered it bc I forgot it until she said it. Viki didnt even catch on when she said that that was something she came up with with Nash when she was pregnant. Tess was the dominant personality during the pregnancy and the one thinking up names with Nash. Jessica was more into Antonio and tried to push Nash away

    • The rumor Zimmer writes about sounds like something Paul Rauch would have told Zimmer about Jacqueline Courtney as a way to discredit Courtney as Rauch loved to do that sort of thing. Zimmer probably just retroactively fit it into her story. Zimmer does not have good sense of time in her memoir. Who knows?!!? Zimmer strikes me as someone who always has to be competing with women.  Zimmer and 1986: If I had no context and someone told me that someone in the 1986 scenes would win four Emmys, I would immediately pick Denniston. Granted, I've only watched about a week's worth, but my word, Zimmer just fades into the background even when she's the main player in the storyline. There's no life in her performances. It feels that Zimmer is unhappy and that she's letting it impact her acting.
    • I'm dreading going into the ninth season; I've got to be mentally ready for it.

Does not help these seasons are damn near thirty episodes. Twenty-two should've been their cut-off.
    • True. I did enjoy the episodes surrounding Greg's faux death, too. @Liberty City Agreed, it started pretty slow, but once Jill falls off the cliff, I was more invested for some reason. Yes, I genuinely enjoyed the episodes surrounding Greg's fake death. I agree, it began quite slowly, but once Jill fell off the cliff, I became much more invested for some reason. I guess bc more of the cast was working together.
    • Shouldn't Laura talk to Kevin first before agreeing to her brother Martin moving in with them? Her house is like a hotel for people she never sees -- like Lucky, who she's unaware of his latest departure as a man who runs away from everything. Meanwhile, Lucky is busy giving away his cabin to Isaiah, who we've barely seen him with.
    • With Sean Kanan as Carl Ivati.
    • These episodes have been delightful so far. I enjoyed everyone who stood at the podium today, as it reminded me of all the decades of history.
    • I've actually enjoyed Lucky's return for the most part, but his "farewell tour" scenes this week are just so weird, and they keep pointing out all the opportunities the show has missed to make him more vital to the canvas. Like I think his scenes with Isaiah today--where he gave Isaiah the deed to a cabin Luke built--were the first time we've seen the two of them together all year. Why go to all the trouble to build up this friendship when Isaiah was introduced, when they basically abandoned it as soon as Lucky moved back to Port Charles?
